Farmers Market Party Details:This is what Kerri said about designing the party-
“We chose a Farmers Market theme because my daughter loves going to the farm and picking fresh produce. We knew this would be a fun party for her, especially with her birthday being in the middle of strawberry season. I wanted to go with a vintage feel with wild flowers (I actually picked every flower used in the party decor straight from the fields at the farm) and red gingham to give it the classic farm feel.
My handy husband built the farmers market produce stand which was our centerpiece for the party. We wanted it to feel like a real farmers market stand so we filled baskets with produce and gave the kids a basket and shopping list where they had to pick out produce based on their list. This was SO FUN for everyone!!
Another great feature of the party was letting the kids pick their own strawberries from the strawberry patch. We gave each of them a blue strawberry basket and let them have at it. My daughter says that was her favorite thing from her party.
I’ve planned a lot of parties and this one was by far my favorite and my girl’s favorite, too. Most parties usually last around 2 hours but everyone stayed 5 hours because they were having too much fun to leave! The farmers market theme was a big success”!
