This adorable VINTAGE CHRISTMAS PARTY was submitted by Anna Hogbin of Mama Bear’s Kitchen.
What a sweet Christmas party! It has such a warm and cozy feel to it with the old fashion gift wrapping and baked goods! I especially love the cute milk bottle tags that say “poppy, mum, grandma, etc”! I also love all of the darling garland made out of red and white Christmas cut outs. This party is so adorable and has so many cute ideas that would be perfect for any holiday occasion.
My favorite Vintage Christmas party ideas and elements from this darling Christmas Celebration are:
- The cute vintage gift wrapping
- The fabric tassel garland with hanging bells added to it
- The adorable vintage cupcake toppers
- The beautiful white cake with pine garland at the bottom
- The darling gingerbread man garland
- The adorable milk bottle tags
- The cute red and white Christmas Tree garland
- and MORE!
This is what Anna said about planning the party- “I wanted to create a vintage Christmas theme for our family gathering this year, combining a rustic red and white colour palette with earthy natural textures and tones. As a busy mother of 8 children, my time was pressed, so I kept the decor simple, using a fabric garland as the backdrop to the dessert table. I used beautiful textured wools, hessian scraps, ribbons, calico, fabric, string and bells throughout the tables. I also used fabric scraps and string to decorate the presents to display on the table. Perhaps my favourite element of the design was the gingerbread man garland tied along the wooden crates. I also liked the vanilla malt milk in the bottles with candy canes, which dissolved into the milk giving it a lovely minty taste! The cupcakes were mango with white chocolate, finished with beautiful vintage toppers from LuluDesignArt. The lolly jars were filled with white jelly beans, red liquorice and plump strawberries. I was thrilled with how easily this theme came together, and how inexpensive the materials were that I used. All of the children were able to help me make the rocky road, raspberry vanilla coconut ice and Christmas cookies, making it a very special Christmas for the whole family.”
