Copycat Granny B’s Pink Sugar Cookie Recipe

Ingredients:
1 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons baking powder
3 1/2 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
3 eggs
1 cup butter
2 teaspoons vanilla

Instructions:
1. Preheat your oven to 400˚ F.
2. In a large bowl, cream butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Add eggs and vanilla and mix for about 2 minutes.
4. Add baking powder, salt and flower to your bowl and mix until well incorporated.
5. Roll out dough ¼ inch thick. Cut out cookie shapes with a small round cookie cutter or round glass (anything circle shaped). If you do not want to roll out your dough you may also roll dough into small 1 1/2 inch round balls with your hands.
6. Bake on greased cookie sheet for almost 9 minutes. If you want your cookies to be soft, do not let them brown.

Pink Frosting Recipe:

Ingredients:
1 cup butter
4 1/2 cups powdered sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons vanilla
3 tablespoons milk
Pink food coloring
Sprinkles

Instructions:
Mix all ingredients together and frost cooled cookies, adding sprinkles as the final touch.
