Enchanted Forest Birthday Party

This whimsical ENCHANTED FOREST BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Effi Tsoukatos of Le Petit Party in Australia. I love all of the woodland and fairy elements in this party! And the names given to the different foods are so creative and tie in perfectly with the theme!

Here are some of my other favorite things in this enchanted forest birthday party:
The flower, moss, and branch centerpieces
The colored glass drink bottles
The tufts of “fairy floss” cotton candy
The “sweet dew drops” lemonade
and MORE!

This is what Effi said about planning the party- “This birthday party was truly magical. The dessert table was set up as a enchanted forest using real wood stumps & logs, green moss & fresh berries. The table featured a central mushroom with fairy sitting on top. It included magic mushroom cookies, butterfly cookies, magic pink marshmallow mushrooms, candy forest berries, chocolate berry cups, chocolate forest logs & fairy floss. Each guest also received a hessian bag filled with berry candy as well as a personalised chocolate bar.
Each dining table was adorned with a grass table runner & wooden centrepiece featuring large green leaves, pink flowers, moss & pretty butterflies. They also had twinkling lights which were particularly pretty at night.

The birthday cake was an amazing gelato creation in the shape of a mushroom. Yum!

It was a great afternoon!”

Enchanted Fairy 2nd Birthday Party

This amazing ENCHANTED FAIRY SECOND BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Sophie & Mia Fay of Bon Bon Boutique.

“Fairy wand… check. Fairy wings… check. Ridiculously over the top fairy skirt…check. And Willow was now ready to celebrate her second birthday party… a party which is in most small girls dreams. An enchanted affair filled with fairy fabulousness and a hint of woodlands magic.

Willlow’s party has, like most of our events been in the pipeline for sometime, with a Pinterest board created for our reference we went about defining our colour palette, use of fabrics and patterns first.

The colour palette we decided on was pink on pink ..”blush and bashful” (for the steel magnolia diehards) with a splash of red & just a hint of forest green. We used pink and white tulle, some with metallic threads, green velvets and toadstool prints.

For the kidlets we created a little fairy table laid with handmade moss runners (complete with sparkles, so it glittered dew like in the sun!), miniature candy terrariums and toadstool seat. Luckily we had a very handy seamstress available who converted simple ikea stools into toadstools by making spotted chair pads. The plastic no spill bottles were teamed with spotted retro paper straws and each child had a pink place setting with scalloped edge plates and matching napkins.

The main table featured a lot of botanicals with a hydrangea & moss wreath, real tree stump and mini mondo grass pots (in which the star cookie wands found a home..BUT NOT FOR LONG! These were a huge hit with all the kids.)

All our plates were lined with various candy in the chosen colour range and the food assortment included strawberry cheesecake, brownies, jelly pots, chocolate cupcakes, fairy pillow doughnuts, pixie popcorn, watermelon stars & berry cups.

The cake was a creation of Mia, and was the most amazing ruffled creation with a layered chocolate cake inside.

Fun was had by all with a lollipop heart hunt and a bubble wand pass the parcel. All the cake stands, glass ware and paper goods were supplied by Bon Bon Boutique.”

We only had a very limited time (one week!) to prepare everything including the backdrop, photo booth backdrop, paperie, dessert table, food, goody bags, etc. Thank you to all of the kind vendors that made everything much easier. Big thanks for helping :).”

Fairy Themed Sisters Birthday Party

You are going to LOVE this FAIRY THEMED SISTERS BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Mandi Callahan of The Cotton Candy Chandelier!

Mandi said- “There is not much that I love more than making things fun and frilly…especially for my sweet girls! Eisley turned 6 and Ember turned 2 in the same month, so I decided to give them a party together! As they get older, I’m sure they will want their own thing, but for now, this is working! :) Anyone that knows me, knows that I love all things sparkly, ruffly, glittery and fun! I don’t want to spend a ton of money, so I try to make as much as possible myself! The girl’s decided on a Fairy Princess Party, so as soon as I heard that, my overactive brain started working on ideas! We live in Florida, so I wanted something outside, I wanted something different, and I wanted it to be bright and colorful! My 6 year old is starting to develop a style of her own, so made sure I checked in with her before I made any big decisions. I wanted her to be a big party of planning it (My 2 year old could care less about any of it, she was just happy to be at a party)! My husband is a professional photographer, so he helped me set up for the party and then he did all of the photography (he is a trooper and NEVER complains…even when I make him drag an entire room of furniture over to my Mom’s and set it up for a party! Ha! He should seriously win some kind of awesome husband award! :) As the girls were arriving to the party, we played a few games and then we made some pretty beaded necklaces. Once everyone was there, the fairy makeovers began! They went from station to station, getting transformed into a fairy princess (tutu’s, wings, wands, crowns, and then finally their fairy face painting!) Once they were ready, we sent them off to get their picture taken and then they got to decorate their very own fairy bird house! I adore my sweet girls and I loved watching their sweet smiles as they enjoyed every second of their birthday party! :)” Vendors and Credits: Party Styling- The Cotton Candy Chandelier Desserts, including cake- Amy Paul Party Printables- Tomkat Studio Birthday Shirt’s appliques- Ambre Katauskas from Doodle Bugs Face Painting- Kyla White Photography- Cory Callahan Items available in Kara’s Party Ideas Shop: Swirl Lolipops Paper Straws Balloons Cupcake Liners Candles

Enchanted Fairy Birthday Party

My next beautiful party feature goes to this precious ENCHANTED FAIRY BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Shae of Enchanted Empire! Where do I even begin?! So much thought was put into every detail of this party! I just love it all. The hand painted tree’s with the forest door is my favorite. Amazing job, Shae! Thanks for your submission. Congratulations on being chosen as a feature today!
Here is what Shae said about the party- “This 5th birthday party was styled for a beautiful girl named Ruby. When choosing a theme for her party she had her favourite fairy book in hand and knew exactly what she wanted and in her favourite colours of all shades of pink and purple. We created a magical white fairy forest with acrylic crystal lavender and clear garland, beautiful butterflies and magical fairy forest door as a photobooth backdrop. Glitter and lace featured throughout the party ensuring that it was feminine, all things fairy and magical. Wooden crates and real moss covered rabbits featured around the party room to ensure the little guests felt like they were walking into a fairies forest. Purple lanterns hung from different heights at the back of the table with flickering faux candles to add depth and awe where ever the children looked. Further faux candles were added to the bird cages scattered around the sweets buffet. Rubies mother provided little pots of flowers, wit h which we added cute messages printed on a butterfly shaped card, this way the children could take a piece of the fairy forest home with them. The cake and sweet treats were created by the talented Kara from Butter Hearts Sugar butterheartssugar.blogspot.com/ and the photography delightfully taken by Tracy Gray Photography (no webpage). Styling & Graphic Design – Enchanted Empire www.enchantedempire.com.au and all linen and hire goods from Enchanted Emporium www.enchantedemporium.com.au.”
