Dinosaur Adventure Party

I’m dying over this DINOSAUR ADVENTURE + PALEONTOLOGIST BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Cris McGrath of Crissy’s Crafts! Not a detail was left out when it came to this darling party! So many fabulous ideas!

Crissy said this about planning the party- “A dinosaur party that takes young paleontologists back to prehistoric time! This party is packed with fun activities that any Dino Hunter would love to dig in! The sweet table was turned into Jurassic Park by adding dinosaur figures, edible dinosaur eggs, silk leaves and pterodactyl pops.

Activities include a Dino Egg Hunt, Dino Dig and a Color a Dino Station. Dino Hunters were treated with a lunch that pleased carnivores and herbivores alike. They were served a fun plate with dino nuggets, broccoli(trees) and eggs(olives). Sweet treats included a Jurassic Park cake, dino egg pops, dino cookies, dino pretzels, pterodactyl chocolate pops and sweet popcorn.

The Dino Hunters were supplied with their own Dino Hunter hat, canteen, binoculars and egg hunt bag to explore and hunt the Dinosaur creatures and their eggs. After the hunt was over, our young paleontologists took home a dino-mite surprise goodie bag filled with prehistoric goodies. It was a Jurassic Journey that will please any boy and/or girl!”

Winter Mint Holiday Christmas Party

What a fun HOLIDAY MINT WINTER CHRISTMAS PARTY submitted by Natalie Mudd of Wonderfully Made Events! Such a cute and clever holiday theme! When I think of anything ‘mint’ I definitely think of Christmas!

Natalie said this about planning the party- “This Winter ‘Mint’ Party was SO much fun to style and create. I LOVE the colors mint and red together so I decided to stick with the mint theme and create a bunch of mint treats for the dessert table.

For the decorations I used old vintage window panes, pine cones, old painted frames, pieces of wood, a vintage sleigh, a wreath, ornaments, flag pennants made out of scrapbook paper from Hobby Lobby & twine, washi tape by Martha Stewart used on drinking jars, and presents wrapped in paper from World Market.

The desserts included Chocolate fudge MINT Cupcakes, Homemade MINT Fudge, Vanilla MINT chocolate covered pretzels, Iced Mint Mocha fraps, Chocolate dipped MINTOreo’s, MINT Chip Ice cream, Pretzel MINT Chocolate rounds, Mint Fudge Chip Cake Pops and Mint Vanilla crème Mousse.”

Dr. Seuss 1st Birthday Party

This darling DR SEUSS THEMED FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Nikka Morell of Triple M Good Parties! I just love all the clever ideas & decor! Nikka did such a good job on every detail!

Nikka said this about planning the party- “When my youngest of three kids turned one this summer, I knew it had to be fun. He is my only summer baby, so I finally got to plan a party outside. My 2 older kids were Thing 1 & Thing 2, and the birthday boy was Cat in the Hat.

I made all the decorations and food. It was fun to make things not so perfect, like an off centered cupcake stand and tall skinny candy jars.

I fell in love with the red, white and teal combination of colors. The ‘real’ Cat in the Hat came to read a book and the kids loved playing all the games, including pin the tail on Horton.”

Snowman Themed 5th Birthday Party

This darling SNOWMAN THEMED FIFTH BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Dunja Moralić of wunderschoen-gemacht! I just love all the glitter and homemade snowmen!

This is what Dunja said about planning the party- “This was the party I did for my sweet daughter for her 5th birthday celebration. She loves the snow so much. The sweet-glittery snowman cards were used as invitations to the guests with glittery confetti snow and ice crystals filling the transparent envelopes.

To decorate the table I used the infinite design possibilities of our metal chandelier: with punched out and then stitched chains, glittering confetti, and improvised snowmen the chandelier became really wintry. The snowmen I discovered accidentally in the DIY store. Magnificent! The silvery  bodies fit perfectly with the color concept. Only the hideous nose and buttons I had to remove and replace them with pretty accessories: star sequins, party glam, buttons, feathers, ribbons, …. oh, that was a fun :-)

Everyone got a photo snow globe as their place card at the table, with a day and night side. I used the same template as the snowmen for the invitations. At the end of the party each child replaced the photo with their own portrait. (Using the photos taken during the party… there were beaming faces: beautiful!)”
