This NICK JR’S BUBBLE GUPPIES THEMED SECOND BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Bethany Baumgart.
Some of my favorite elements in this Bubble Guppies party are:
The under the sea mermaid themed cake
The chevron print wreath
The framed wooden number two with the chicken wire backdrop
and MORE!
This is what Bethany said about planning the party- “Our two year old daughter is in LOVE with the Nick Jr. television show Bubble Guppies. Bubble Guppies is still a newer show, so there is not much out there to choose from when it comes to party decor. It took some creative thought to put this all together!”

This amazing retro SCOOBY DOO THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by the talented Lauren Borquez of Capes and Crowns.
Wow, how cool is this?! So many fabulous details that you don’t want to miss! There are tons of fun ideas in this Scooby Doo party! A few of my favorites are:
The Mystery Machine shaped cake complete with fondant Scooby and Shaggy characters
The Scooby Doo gang photobooth props
The detailed wooden figurines customized to look like each of the characters
This is what Lauren said about planning the party- “When my oldest son began to develop a fondness for Scooby Doo I was thrilled. I have to admit that I’m a pretty big fan myself. Not being the type of planner to shy away from a character themes I was so delighted to hear that he also wanted a ‘Ruby Roo’ birthday party! I was hoping it would go that direction but I always let my little ones chose their themes. I got to work right away and started with the printables. I knew that I wanted very custom illustrations that included all the characters but not I didn’t want them to look too commercial. Who else would I call upon other than the amazing Piggy Bank Parties. They did an exceptional job! The color scheme for the party was based around the colors on the Mystery Machine and given the era in the cartoon these was no way that I could forgo the chevron. All of the details, from the custom Scooby inspired desserts to the décor came to together in such a fun way thanks to the help of all my talented vendors. Danielle captured the party perfectly and I had one very happy mystery loving four year old!”

My sister-in-law hand painted the backdrop.”
