Surfer Girl 7th Birthday Party

This adorable SURFER GIRL SEVENTH BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Romina Di Leva of Hazlo Especial {in Spain}! I just love the bright colors and creative party ideas!

Romina said- “Ainhoa and her sister watched “Soul Surfer” on the cinema last summer. From that moment, she could only think about being a surfer girl, visiting Hawaii, and buying a Surfboard. Of course, she wanted a Surf Party to celebrate her 7th birthday!”

Hang 10 Retro Surf Birthday Party

This adorable HANG 10 RETRO SURF THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Mariah Leeson of Giggles Galore! Mariah planned this party so well…so many darling ideas!

Mariah said- “I planned this surf themed party for a good friend’s daughter that was turning 10. She wanted a beach themed party so we decided on a Hang 10 Retro Surf theme. The backyard was transformed into a surfer’s paradise with a cool surf shack for the girls to “Hang 10″ and enjoy an evening of swimming and fun. I transformed a wooden lemonade stand into a surf shack with a new sign, hanging paper lanterns and a few surfboards. I placed the food table next to it and hung a grass table skirt from it to give it a more “beachy” feel. The table served double duty and the dinner items (hot dogs, chips, and fruit) were placed on the table so the girls could help themselves and then we later moved all of the sweets out and put them on display. Danese of Danese Griffith’s Floral & Cake Design made the incredible retro surf van cake and beach themed cupcake toppers. I loved the amazing retro surf van that matched the printables and all of the sweet details she added, like the custom license plate with the birthday girls initials and birth date.

The birthday girl’s mom wanted to make sure there were plenty of eyes to watch the girls while they were swimming so she asked several teenagers to act as lifeguards. We made each of them a little “thank you” gift with a custom t-shirt, flip flops, towel, and whistle. The party guests went home with a basket full of goodies including a beach towel, flip flops they made and candy.”
