Girly Superhero 5th Birthday Party

How fun is this SUPERHERO 5TH BIRTHDAY PARTY for a GIRL?! Love it! The party was styled and submitted by Rebeca K of My Paper Lily.

Rebeca said- “MY daughter, Ava turned super FIVE this past March! I had asked her what kind of party she wanted this year, and to my surprise she yelled out, ” A SUPER HERO party!” It isn’t really considered a girly party, I guess, so princess crowns and fairy wings had to be erased from my mind. The challenge wasn’t too difficult, but gathering ideas was a little more like a treasure hunt. Like every superhero party, there had to be a London Phone Booth to change into their life-saving outfits! The Phone Booth became a secret hide-out or a place to escape from the bad guys. Who is saving who!? Haha. I got the box from Lowes. As soon as the children walked in through the door they were immediately presented with their Superhero capes, masks, and hair clips! I made the capes myself along with their belts, and arm cuffs. MUCH more CHEAPER! I am always on a budget, and I’ve probably mentioned this way too many times in my blog posts.Therefore, the dessert table was simple. All that was included were cupcakes ( I made), cookies, rice krispie treats ( I made), and Ava’s cake ( I made). For the sunburst backdrop, I used a second fridge box! I lined up painters tape (that blue tape) to help guide me with the sunburst lines. Then, I alternatively painted two types of Pink colors which I purchased at Walmart. It worked out great! For a while I had a hard time figuring out what I could use to create the Sunburst because I didn’t want to spend money on Fabric! This was so much cheaper, absolutely FREE – except the paint.The city was also made from left over cardboard boxes from our recent move. I cut it up to match her invitation. I wanted the parents to have some fun too! So, I made these Supermom and Superdad stickers to pass around. It generated quite the laugh! I’ll work on having them available soon. I hope you found some great ideas here if you have a daughter or son who wants a Superhero party!” Vendors and Credits:

Superhero Party

This fun SUPERHERO THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Dalia of Tiny Tots Toy Hire. This party was actually a combined girl boy party- combined with a sweet shoppe party that will be showcased next.

“With the birthday kids being a four year old boy and two year old girl, the props used to theme and style the “Calling all Superheroes: Help Save the Milk Bar!” birthday party were perfectly tailored for both sexes. We wanted to show that boys and girls parties can be combined successfully and still look amazing and be lots of fun. It just takes a little creativity and thinking outside the box! We had a blast styling our new prop and printables range to appeal to all the little guests, with the custom made vintage style phone booth an absolute hit even with the adults! Hire props on the beautifully decorated Retro Milk Bar style dessert table (styled by Sophisticated Yum) included a mini retro style juke box, a gumball machine and various glass jars and cake stands filled to the brim with sweet treats, all sitting on a back and white checkered floor. Yummy goodies included macarons, sundae push pops, home style melting moments and choc chip cookies, cake pops and lots more! Not so far away from the Retro Milk Bar was a thirst quenching lemonade cart with a glass beverage dispenser, and a melt-in-your-mouth old fashioned “Corn & Candy Station”. Opposite the popcorn & fairy floss was the “Boom”, “Wham” and “POW” Superhero table (styled by Sophisticated Yum). This cool-looking table featured a custom made backdrop to match the invitations (by Tiny Tots Toy Hire), ‘shazzam rings’, mini bomb cake bites, lollies in colourful tin buckets, personalised vanilla cupcakes and cookie pops to match the boy and girl Superheroes featured on the invitation. Keeping with the Superhero theme, custom made Superhero Kits including a personalised cape, mask and Official Superhero certificate were provided for all the kids, with the babies getting their own custom made bibs! Guests also enjoyed their own healthy superhero themed lunchboxes. The custom made phone booth was the perfect prop for parents to snap away fun memories of their little superheroes. Not to mention the two real life Superhero entertainers who made a surprise visit to help the kids complete their mission of saving the Milk Bar (as per the party invitation). “The kids had such a great time! Nothing beats the look on their faces when Super Trev and his accomplice showed up running towards them across the lawn! Well maybe that look was beaten by the look on the mums’ faces when the kids used magic powers on the dads to make them dance like ballerinas!” said Dalia. Of course there were plenty of trusty hire toys to keep the kids entertained for hours. Colorful Superhero Birthday Party

My next feature goes to this terrific COLORFUL SUPERHERO BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Maria Cañal of Pistacho Fiestas. First things first, I love the beautiful photography by Lacazette Pelayo. He captured this party perfectly. Such pretty photographs! And next, how cute are the superhero outfits?! I’m so impressed with Maria. She has done it yet again. What a cute, cute party. Maria said- “Cape, mask and belt, are a staple for any superhero worth his salt. So I made them all a complete kit, with their initial on the belt and cape. This was a party with all the colors of the rainbow.The children were very cute and funny in their costumes! The photos were taken by Lacazette Pelayo (and some from Nacho Vela).”

I have been planning a super hero party for my boys who are turning 4 & 5 in June for the past 2 years {I know, a little crazy. haha}! So this party is way UP on my list. I love, love, love it!
