St. Patrick’s Day Birthday Party

It’s hard to believe that it’s already March! With St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner, I’m excited to showcase this adorable ST. PATRICK’S DAY BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by TammyMitchell of Tammy Mitchell Designs.
Here’s what Tammy had to say about the party- “Growingup, St. Patrick’s Day was NOT a big holiday in our house. It was more or less aday that we just made sure that we wore something green so we didn’t getpinched. Well, fast forward to today and things have changed a little in ourhouse. Now St. Patrick’s Day is a much celebrated and anticipated day thanks tothe fact that my sweet little girl was born on this special day. A little girlwho’s favorite colors are usually all pink, light pink and hot pink (yes, theyare all different colors of the rainbow…did you know?) turns to a green fiendfrom February 15th to March 17th. When we wander through stores and she seesall the green, she fully believes that it is all in honor of her special day.It is too cute. I know that there will come a time that she no longer believesthis, so I have to live it up while I can. I completely feed into her obsessionand belief that the world is celebrating with her. Who wouldn’t want to feellike that? I’m so excited to share this party with you and hope you will beinspired to have a little green celebration of your own this year! :)”

What a great spread.
I love that she incorporated navy blue along with the obvious green!
In Nellie’s words…“With St. Patty’s Day right around the corner, now is the time to start thinking about throwing a par-tay! I mean, you don’t really have to be irish to party like it, right!? Take a peek at my new printable party for a festive St. Patty’s bash! This one is geared towards adults, but would be just as cute for a kid’s party! {Just omit the vodka from the jello “treats”!} I teamed up with my girl Tracie, of {tsj} photography, to provide some nice visuals for you all! {We had some fun in the process, check out her side of the story here!} Enjoy!”
Thanks for your submission, Nellie!

In Debbie’s words…
We knew we we want our desserts to be full of color… green color that is, so we wanted our dishes and platters to be neutral to not take away from the drooling desserts. We went with all white platters and added our pattern paper to create the splash of color where needed.
The main focal point of our dessert table was our “good luck tree”. We hung mini sugar cookies for the guest to take and make a wish when they took a bite. The other dessert we had were:peanut butter toffee (really easy recipe… seriously no candy thermometer needed!), cupcakes, carmel Rice Krispy treats, mini candy bars, chocolate gold coins, chocolate golden nuggets in a pot of gold and “Thanks for being my good luck charm”favors filled with Lucky Charms. To drink we had Jones Green Apple Drinks (because it was for the kids, but could easily be replaced with green beer bottle for an adult table- since it is St Patty’s Day!) with our take 3 sips & make a wish straw tag.
Create mini pot of gold favors with a cupcake liner and our “cupcake wrapper”. You can find the DIY tutorial at wantsandwishesdesign.blogspot.com (coming soon with the recipes for theCarmel Rice Krispy Treats & Peanut Butter Toffee with a secret ingredient!)”
Thanks for your submission, Wants & Wishes!
Congratulations on being the winning party feature today!
