Easter Dessert Buffet + Party! FREE Printables!

This fantastic EASTER DESERT BUFFET + PARTY was submitted by Cris McGrath of Crissy’s Crafts!

The printables used in this party are available for FREE here

Such a cute party with so many adorable ideas! Perfect for Easter or any spring soiree! Some of my favorite elements in this Easter party are:
  • The Easter egg tree
  • The favor cones filled with fresh fruits and vegetables
  • The glass egg cups holding chocolate eggs
  • and MORE!
Here’s what Cris had to say about planning the party- “I always have a blast styling a party using Amanda’s Parties To Go printables! Amanda has the most adorable and colorful designs.

The dessert table was full of easy and colorful treats that were a feast to our tummies and eyes! To create the pallet backdrop, I glued several pieces of scrapbook paper found at Hobby Lobby to a foam board. I attached the Happy Easter Banner from Amanda’s free Easter collection and added mini wreaths to the backdrop. The sweets included Kisses push up pops, Tulip cake pops, Hershey’s chocolate, chocolate eggs, chocolate bunnies, jelly beans and sweet popcorn. I kept the sweets simple and focused on the presentation using a lot of Spring items and took advantage of the huge items included in the printable set to really make the party pop. The party activity was to build and paint your own bird house, and of course we had an Easter Egg Hunt as well! It was a fun and happy way to welcome Spring and celebrate Easter!”

This is what Belinda said about planning the party- “When we shared our news of a new baby due to arrive in September with our 2 children aged 6 and 3, there was much discussion about what ‘Season’ this baby would be born in! It was decided that we should put flowers into the garden to welcome our baby in spring…and so in April we lovingly placed Freesia bulbs deep into the ground around our home. During the weeks that led to Baby’s arrival we noticed with much excitement one by one the freesias start to appear randomly in our garden beds. Each Beautiful Freesia seemed to take us another step closer to our baby’s arrival and we all welcomed the distraction while we waited.

Our Baby Boy arrived on a beautiful spring day in September last year, and as I walked to the car on the way to the hospital I could smell freesias in the air, and see the cheerful dots of color throughout our garden beds. Of course our 2 excited children greeted us in hospital after baby’s arrival bearing a beautiful bunch of hand-picked Freesias which sat in a vase beside our bed for our stay.

I did not remove the bulbs from the garden after they had flowered as ‘they’ say you are supposed to do….and to our surprise, one by one our Freesias have flowered again this spring…just in time for our Baby Boys first birthday.

We decided on a “Spring theme” for Ned’s 1st Birthday Celebration using bright yellow and orange to complement the freesia’s we had in our garden. We set up the party table in our nearby “parklands” and enjoyed a morning of fun with close family and friends.”

Here’s what Bird had to say about planning the party- “This is year I decided to re-design our original Easter Bunny printables using a pastel color scheme: Pastel pinks, yellow, blue and green. I also added a few more cute printables into the set, like the paper bows, adorable Easter Bunny Cupcake Wrappers in four colors, cute printable bag toppers and brand new invitations. It’s a total of over 18 pages of printables to help style a beautiful Easter Party with ease and without breaking the bank! ;)

This Easter party contains lots of handmade and crafty details like a paper version of my plush fabric flowers! I really wanted to incorporate those in the styling of the mini candy station, but had no time nor the patience to sew 4 new colored flowers, so I tried using paper instead – Guess what? it worked beautifully and took half the time!

For the styling I wanted to keep it simple but cute, so I used a lot of the Easter printables to decorate the candy station and the kid’s table. Large, pastel-colored paper lanterns hung from the tree above the table, which added color, provided shade and looked quite dramatic without too much effort! ;)

Since the printables had a pastel color scheme, I used the same colors in wool yarn to complement the tableware and add a little warmth. I also made a really simple wreath by wrapping the wool yarn around a polystyrene wreath and embellishing it with rolled crepe paper roses. I used napkins to make some of the other pomanders for the desserts/candy station.

The table setting was pretty simple and disposable tableware was used. Each guest had a bunny place-card with their names on and a cute Easter paper basket full of treats!

The centerpiece was an Easter Egg Bouquet. I really love how versatile this centerpiece idea is, especially for a kids’ table – This bouquet doesn’t need watering, it’s child-friendly and edible! can’t ask for better than that!

Each place setting was finished off with a cute bottle wrapped with our printable bottle wrappers and colored straws embellished with printable Easter Bunnies from the collection!

The candy buffet was styled atop a white, distressed dresser (from my daughter’s bedroom). It added height and allowed me to make the best of a small space. The sweet treats on offer are of course chocolate Easter eggs, as well as marshmallows matching the party color scheme, chocolate candy bars, jelly gum eggs inside egg cartons, cream cheese Easter Bunny cupcakes and strawberry meringues.

I guess with any Easter Party you gotta have an Egg Hunt, right? Our printable Egg Hunt signage and cute printable Easter Egg baskets doubled as favor baskets too, and were used by the kids to hunt for chocolate eggs around the garden!

Our printable bunny ears, also make for a really fun activity, where guests can decorate their own head-bands. They make for fun photo props too! My daughter insisted on having her ears pinned to the flower headband she was wearing! Girls will be girls! ;)

For the favors and gifts, I thought it would be really fun to display them onto a mini wooden wheel barrel I have – But you could re-purpose a vegetable box or crate painted white for the same “garden” effect.

Favors included speckled chocolate eggs bags topped with Easter Bunny printable bag toppers, chocolate candy bars wrapped in matching wrappers, and Easter Eggs displayed inside egg cartons. I decorated each carton with scrap-booking papers from the kit, yarn, a printable Easter favor tag and some of those super cute, printable paper bows!”

Seersucker & Bow Tie Easter Party

This adorable SEERSUCKER & BOW TIE EASTER PARTY was submitted by Deanna Talwalkar of Mirabelle Creations.

This party is full of charming and darling ideas that could be used for more than just an Easter party. Many of the elements could be used for a baby shower or 1st birthday party, too!

Some of my favorite things about this Easter party are:
The seersucker fabric bow tie wrapped around the cake
The macarons served in push pop containers
The seersucker fabric pennant banner
and MORE!

Cupcakes: The Twisted Sifter

Baker’s Twine
Cupcake Liners
Ric-Rac Ribbon
Scallop Circle Paper Punch

This is what Deanna said about planning the party- “This Easter party was inspired by two of my favorite southern spring fashion items — bow ties and seersucker print.

Dessert Table: The inspiration for the table started with pale pink, yellow, and light blue seersucker fabrics. All of the printable paper goods incorporate those colors, along with a pop of coral. The printable paper goods also include a simple stripe, like the seersucker fabric. The dessert table was first topped with pink ruffled seersucker table runners that I made. A fabric flag banner, made from yellow and blue seersucker fabric, decorated the bead board backdrop. A white hobnob vase held blue hydrangeas. Small ceramic bunnies and chicks were placed on the table for a subtle Easter vibe.

Easter, and the onset of Spring, is the perfect time for light, fresh desserts. Angel Food Cake was topped with whipped frosting and toasted coconut. A hand made bow tie was wrapped around the cake. Bow ties also decorated cake stands and candy jars. Strawberry Filled Vanilla Cupcakes with Vanilla buttercream were topped with Easter cupcake toppers from the printable paper goods Collection. The table also included Strawberry Mousse, Assorted Macarons, and Vanilla Meringues.

Drink Station: A small drink station was set up on a vintage vanity table. Sparkling Strawberry Lemonade was served in mason jar glasses adorned with bow ties. Push up pops were filled with macarons for simple take-home favors.”
