Spa Themed Birthday Party

This SPA THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Patricia Amarante Salvadego of Maria Serafina – Festas Delicadas.

This spa party is so fun because of its unique color palette (a diversion from the pink or lilac often used for girl parties) and because it has so many creative ideas! Some of my favorite elements are:
  • The stunningly intricate cake
  • The personalized bath robes and slippers
  • The cookies shaped like make-up and toiletries
  • and MORE!

This is what Kerri said about the party- “I have been doing yoga for about 6 months now and LOVE it. The instructor at the Yoga studio just started offering yoga parties so I, of course hadto host one! My daughter, Karlie loves doing the poses with me so I thought it would be fun to do a mother/daughter party with a small group of friends.

I am a freelance graphic designer (also design for an AWESOME frame company, Wild Sorbet Frame Company) so I designed all the party printables (available in my etsy shop, Big K, little k designs). I wanted to keep the food mostly healthy so I chose to do hummus cupcakes, trail mix, fruit, spinach dip, fruit water, and peach tea.

We started off by choosing toe rings (it’s a yoga thing-hehe) and then getting on our yoga mats. The instructor guided us through lots of poses that were kid friendly. Our daughters had so much fun getting to jump around and be silly. We then gave the daughters a foot massage and then they went to play while the mommie’s enjoyed a few minutes of quiet time and a foot massage from the instructor.

We then enjoyed our snacks and let the kids play while the mommies got in some gab time. Our instructor made the cutest treat bags where she shaped pipe cleaners into yoga poses.

It was such a fun party and it was great to have some mother, daughter time. Everyone had  a blast!”

Princess Ariel Royal Birthday Party

This precious PRINCESS ARIEL ROYAL BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Chiquita Party Boutique! What a lovely twist on the typical under the sea mermaid party! Everything is just darling. I hope you gain a lot of wonderful ideas here!

“This unforgettable princess party was designed for Heather on her 5th Birthday and inspired by Ariel, Heather’s favorite princess! The party was held at a local spa in the area so the girls would be treated in a very special way, just like princesses! The service was beyond excellent as the staff took care of everything imaginable. Invitations with the expression, “Once Upon a Time” were sent to each guest, giving it a feel of a story that had just begun. On the envelope, a blue starfish was glued to close it and on the RSVP card, a silhouette of Flounder with all the information.

A wide array of candies and cookies with delicate wrapping where carefully designed and displayed without losing the marine ambiance proper to Princess Ariel. Dainty little details surprised Heathers’ little friends, as a wide array of candies were offered such as Goodie bags, jar tags, welcome signs, marshmallows, and royal milk chocolates.

All was personalized to cater to each princess and the dresses for each little princess were the highlight of the event as they modeled for everyone! Even “Prince Eric” was invited to the party!”

Valentine’s Day Spa Party

Up next is an adorable VALENTINE’S DAY SPA PARTY submitted by Christy Bergerson of Itsy Belle. This party looks like it was so much fun! What a perfect theme for a teen valentines party! LOVE the hutch dessert display and the pink ruffle cake! Here is what Christy said about the party- “When I was planning on a Valentine’s themed Spa Party for girls I knew it had to be sweet and relaxing! I decided soft pinks would give more of a calm spa feeling than the typical reds of Valentine’s Day. In searching for inspiration I saw a photo of the sweetest pink ombre ruffle cake, and it became my centerpiece! I knew that fading soft pinks, ruffles, and sweetness would be the perfect touches. I also wanted to bring in a touch of chocolate, cause what would Valentine’s Day be without chocolate!I knew for a spa party there had to be lots of pampering! The girls got pampered with Moodylicous Wicked Chocolate face frosting, and Chocolate Sugar scrub, as well as lots of sweet spa “Treatments” to eat! We set up a Mani/Pedi station and each guest got a pink ruffled spa robe, and a Moodylicous favor bag filled with Mani/Pedi kits, nail polish, treats, eye mask and flowered headband. The Sweet “Treatments” were: Pink Ombre Ruffled Champagne Cake; Champagne Cupcakes; Lettered Mini Marshmallows as “Marshmallow Love Letters”; Marshmallow pops as “Sugar Scrubs”; Pink Cotton Candy as “Sugar Cotton Balls”, Peppermint Neccos as “Candy Bath Bombs”Pink; Meringues as “Spa Cookies” Fruit Punch as “Love Potion” Take Home Spa Favors: Soapy Spa Sundaes Moodylicous Cotton Candy Body Spray Moodylicous Cotton Candy Lotion Moodylicous Wicked Chocolate Face Frosting Heart shaped photo holders from Pier 1 Imports. They girls had such a fun time covering eachother in chocolate face frosting and sugar scrub, there was a lot of laughter! Even my little daughter Annabelle joined in for some pampering!” Vendor Credits: Event Styling & Printables – Itsy Belle Spa Products – Moodylicous Childrens Spa Photography – Bergerson Creative
