Pink Dance Themed 10th Birthday Party

Pink Rock Star Birthday Party via Kara's Party Ideas | KarasPartyIdeas.com

This cheerful PINK THEMED TENTH BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Lilach dan Gur of Partix.

What a creative idea for the party theme to simply be the birthday girl’s favorite color! A few highlights to look for in this pink party are:
  • The muslin favor bags stamped with the party logo, in pink of course
  • The treat cones filled with assorted salty snacks and displayed in coordinating buckets
  • The plastic syringes full of chocolate pudding
  • and MORE!
This is what Lilach said about planning the party- “This was a surprise party for Amit for her 10th birthday. Amit loves pink so we made sure there were a lot of pink items and sweets!”

This is what Melissa said about planning the party- “My daughter Kate recently turned two and I took two of her favorite things as inspiration for the party: The book “Pinkalicious” and anything with Gold Glitter. She has favored the “Pinkalicious” book since she’s been tiny. Our copy of the book is torn to shreds! I didn’t want to use the character in the book for the main design but instead used my sweet Kate. I photographed her in a gold princess crown and and dressed her in a shade of pink. Then I worked with the color in designing the invite.

At the party, guests got to enjoy a variety of Pinkalicious treats that you’d see in the story. Two of my favorites were the pink cupcakes complete with gold dust and the Pinkalicious strawberry cake. For the party favors, the girls received gold or glitter star wands just like Pinkalicious in the story. For the extra pink/glitter touches throughout the table, I incorporated pink/glitter ribbon on the mason jars and designed pink and glitter water bottle labels. I love the chevron design of the backdrop and was so excited to stumble across that paper. It added the touch of modern I was looking for. The paper tassels at the top were so easy to make and polished off the background. Pinkalicious Kate and her friends had a sparkly fun 2nd birthday party!”

Pinkalicious 6th Birthday Princess Party

You are going to love this gorgeous PINKALICIOUS 6TH BIRTHDAY PARTY submited by Suzanna of Mon Tresor! Everything is divine. So many party ideas here!

Suzanna said- “This was a pinkalicious themed party I styled for my sweet niece Mikayla’s 6th birthday. Featuring a pink and gold colour palette and based on the storybook ‘Pinkalicious’.  Of course, it had to feature the colour pink, and seeing as I have 2 boys I jumped at the chance of styling a party where the colour palette was pink, pink and more pink! We ended up using different shades of pink with touches of gold and silver. The AMAZING cake featuring ombre pink ruffles, a sweet bow and a gold sparkly crown and wand made by Marie from Couture Cupcakes and Cookies. Along with the cake, Marie also made sparkle wand cookies, cake pops and cupcakes in differing shades of pink. A beautiful pink meringue tower sat proudly on a gold pedestal.  Other features of the table included, a gorgeous handsewn pink tuelle tablecloth, 3ft pink balloons complete with ribbons and gold tassles and a backdrop designed by me. The children’s table settings were pink and pretty with my favourite child size replica ghost chairs in clear, complete with ombre pink ruffle sashes. ‘Almost Sleepover’ Birthday Party

This adorable ALMOST SLEEPOVER BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Ellen Bessette of Ellen Bessette Events. I just love the fun sparkly and pink vibe the party gives. Any little girl- young, tween, or old would love to be at this celebration. Ellen said– “An almost sleepover party is where the girls come to the party in their PJ’s and pretend to have a slumber party and then return home around 9pm without sleeping over. Design Inspiration: My daughter saw a cake on One Charming Party and the party was centered around that design- pink, girly and bling! Activities: For a craft, we decorated door hangers with glitter glue and foamies and made pink/white crystal bracelets (supplies from Michael’s). We also had a beauty bar set up on a nightstand with nail polish, eye shadow, lip gloss, tiara’s and necklaces. The pillow fight was the most popular activity. And the girls danced to WII Dance Party 2. Project Tips: DIY centerpieces using Blumeboxes and party printables from Frog Prince Paperie. The dessert table was dressed up using the party printables. Food labels, cupcake wrappers to dress up plain cupcake wrappers, bottled water turned from ordinary to not so ordinary, snack boxes to dress up chocolate covered pretzels and green apple flavored popcorn and I made two more centerpieces to tie in the theme. Back drop for the dessert table was made using pomettes from PomFlair. Use props that you already have: I used the furniture straight out of my daughters’ rooms to really set the tone. Their beds were the tables, night stand was the beauty bar and their dresser was the dessert table. Also, I perked up the entrance to the party with pink feather wreaths on my front doors where I purchased Styrofoam wreaths from Michaels and wrapped a feather boa around it. Place cards can also double as the party favor. I had personalized pillowcases made for party favors and I rolled them up, tied a ribbon around it and put them on top of their place settings so the girls knew where to sit and then they had a fun take home party favor. Dress up plain chairs with tulle or ribbon. And tie your flatware with coordinating ribbon.” Vendors and Credits: Bedding- Target Party Printables- Frog Prince Paperie Pomettes- PomFlair Cake and cupcakes- Cut the Cake (Inspired by One Charming Party) Cotton candy & green apple flavored popcorn- Kernel Encore Personalized pillowcases- Preppy Penguin Flowers- Blumebox Party Styling and photography- Ellen Bessette Events
