This gorgeous PINK PRINCESS THEMED TEA PARTY was submitted by Bird’s Party & styled by Celebrations at Home. All the decor and food is fantastic! Just take a look at that gorgeous centerpiece!
Party details and vendor list at bottom of post…
Here is what Bird had to say about the party-
“Party Details & Design: In order to showcase the printable Princess Party Designs I created in 2010, I decided to call upon some pretty special and talented party industry professionals, and vendors to help bring my vision of an enchanted fairy tale to life!
The incredible stylist that is Chris Nease from Celebrations at Home, was the brains and driving force during the shooting of this Princess Tea Party, and her unique and handmade creative styling really helped to bring the party printables to life, and exceeded my wildest expectations!
Chris dreamed up each detail from scratch, and created the stunning floral centerpiece, the desserts side buffet, the gorgeous tulle decorations on the seating area and all the fun and beautiful details that were expertly captured by Julie Renee Photography.
Although this is a really popular party theme, Chris’ ideas and clever styling really made it stand out and look like no other Princess Party I had ever seen before! The table setting was more chic than cute – The centerpiece was a great focal point and turned out beautiful! Floral foam soaked in water was used inside a small stand. Pink roses, carnation, and baby’s breath were inserted and a gold decorative crown topped it all off. The place settings were vintage snack sets set on top of a doily.
The napkins were customized by using rhinestone iron-on transfers in a crown motif, and cupcake pedestals were created using small candlestick holders and vintage saucers. Chris used 3 different shades of pink to spray paint each candlestick a different color to hold the eclectic mix of china patterns. The printed elements tie everything together with place cards, straw flags, and cupcake toppers from the printable collection.
Desserts & Food: For a dessert “table” a book shelf lined with coordinated fabric was used – This low shelving was the perfect height for little ones to serve themselves. Decorative items as well as the flower wands from Fluffy Tuffies, favor boxes wrapped in tulle & a tag from the Princess Printable Collection, pretty & delicious cupcakes, and the most beautiful princess themed cookies from Lori’s Place were displayed with elegance and charm.
A fun and pretty photo prop was created by hanging an empty frame from a tree branch. Dressed in their tutus & head bands from Cole Baby Tutus, the little models had a blast and the photos turned out gorgeous!
Party Styling Tips from Chris Nease:
Create your own cupcake pedestals using small candlesticks from the dollar store, and an eclectic mix of china saucers. Glue Dots are used to hold the items together securely, and can be removed afterwards for care-free clean up.
Design your own napkins with iron-on embelishments and cotton napkins (or simple fabric squares).
Serve sandwich “wands” by cutting out shapes from peanut butter sandwiches and inserting a lollipop stick into the middle.
Party atmosphere is easy to create with yards of ribbon hanging from trees or the ceiling.
Hang an empty frame from a tree branch for an instant photo booth.
Use a book shelf to serve snacks from. Line the back with fabric for the day using spray adhesive – follow directions on the can for “temporary use.”
Get more bang for your buck by incorporating guest favors into the party itself. Here the designer cookies in cellophane, and dress up attire can all be taken home as parting gifts.”
It’s time for another gorgeous princess party. This PRINCESS 5TH BIRTHDAY PARTYwas submitted by Sriti Fusillo. Sriti not only chose to host a princess party for her daughter, but a tea party as well. Everything was put together so perfectly. Such a pretty party for a darling little girl.
Here is what Sriti wrote about the party-
“I did a Princess Tea Party for my daughter Sarina for her 5th birthday. I hand-made the invitations to look like tea bags which folded out and gave all the details for Princess Sarina’s Birthday Tea. I hand made all the food except the cake, which was made by It’s All About the Cake. We had Petite Fours with fondant tea pot toppers and pink blossoms, chocolate cupcake pops, yogurt parfaits, brownie bites with fondant dahlias, and sugar cookies. I also made Princess Punch (sherbert with ginger ale) and we had pink tea (pink lemonade). The table napkins were mismatched pieces of material I had that I sewed into napkins. The napkin rings are toilet paper rolls cut and then covered with ribbon and a rhinestone. I designed the chair backing and all the printables myself (I am a freelance graphic designer) and my husband hung a small chandelier over the table using fishing line. The girls had a hair and makeup statio n where they could get their hair and makeup done and a crafts table where they could make their own crowns and wands. The goody bags were felt bags that were filled with princess items (a charm bracelet with princess charms, jewelry erasers, princess pops and truffles in a gown box) that each of the girls got to take home along with their made crowns and wands.”

I just heart the crystal cake pops and dainty marshmallows.
