Sugarplum Gingerbread Holiday Christmas Party

Merry Christmas!! I hope you all have a wonderful holiday!!

This lovely SUGARPLUM GINGERBREAD HOLIDAY CHRISTMAS PARTY was submitted by the talented Suzanne Olvey of Fanciful Events! Everything is just precious! Such an adorable party with so many darling ideas…

Suzanne said this about planning the party- “I wanted to do a Sugar Plum/Gingerbread party and have it be a sweet little holiday party for my daughter and her friends. We were supposed to decorate cookies and color their great big gingerbread take home boxes but as you know, kids sometimes have a mind of their own and plans change so I wanted to share some pictures of the fun little party we had! :)

I had Brittany from Edible Details make me the beautiful fondant toppers, the gingerbread house cake topper, and fairy topper and they were just adorable and so super sweet! Emily from Magnolia Creative created the beautiful printables, melamine plates and invitation to go with this sweet little theme. I decided to do a simple theme and just wanted to keep it fun and festive! It turned out to be a really great little holiday party!”

Nutcracker Ballet Themed Christmas Party

This gorgeous NUTCRACKER BALLET THEMED CHRISTMAS PARTY was submitted by Chritie Skerski of Flaired Affairs! What a fabulous holiday party theme! I love the muted pink & aqua color scheme…the gold looks fabulous as well! So many darling ideas here…

Here’s what Chritie had to say about planning the party- “I knew I wanted to do a Christmas dessert table this year and I was inspired by recent posters for a local ballet company who performs the Nutcracker annually.. First, while it is a Christmas event, it is outside of what I would call traditional Christmas. Coupled with the non-traditional colorscapes I chose of teal, pink and gold, it felt a little bit out of the ordinary just as I wanted. Add a dash of sparkle, and it was magical. One of my favorite elements of the entire style were the little party guests all painted up as their favorite character – Oh What Fun We Had!

There were two dessert tables filled with so many goodies! There were vanilla bean cream filled cupcakes that were crowned with toppers by Hot Mama’s Bakery along with matching sugar cookies. A beautiful adornment and equally tasty were the French Macarons by Crazy about Macarons – just gorgeous. The true sparkle on the table was the Glam cake pops by The Sweet Tooth Bar ~ goodness gracious, they were fab eye candy! One of the tastiest treats was the Nutcracker sweets cookies by The Cookie Jar. Another dessert table favorite is the chocolate covered Oreos by Sweeties by Kim. And rounding out the mouth watering, melt-in-your-mouth treats were raspberry meringues by Maddie’s Meringues.

The party guests were also a treat to invite. The little guests that dined on all the desserts were face painted by hand by Playful Paints to match their favorite Nutcracker character. They were served sparkling mocktails while they ogled over their little gifts from Santa. These little beauties were the glitter and sparkle for this party.”

Sugar Plum Nutcracker Winter Ballerina Party

And the next party feature goes to this delightful SUGAR PLUM NUTCRACKER WINTER PARTY submitted by Suzanne Olvey of Fanciful Events. Now this is sucha pretty party. What a dreamy winter wonderland! Suzanne styled this party for her daughter, Clara’s birthday. So much love went into every detail.
Here is what Suzanne said about the party- “I decided to base the theme around Clara’s love for the Nutcracker and her dream of traveling in the beautiful wintry wonderland and seeing the Sugar Plum fairy and her candy kingdom of sweets. I decided to go with a winter white theme and make it all sparkly and magical! I tried capturing Clara’s love and wonderment for her Nutcracker and the enchantment she felt and experienced in her dream.
We had so many wintry sweets that included cupcakes, marshmallow pops, cake pops, chocolate covered oreos, sugar cookies, wintry scones, peppermint bark candy bites and a sweet little ballerina cake that featured Clara and her love for ballet around it. All the amazing fondant toppers were made by Brittany from Edible Details and just beautiful and stunning! They shimmered and sparkled like a winter wonderland! We had a little table for the girls that was whimsical and showcased the love for all things sweet! They found on their table a gingerbread man cookie that they could decorate and also had little bracelets awaiting them with their name on them and they also got to take home a beautifully wrapped gift that had a sweet pajama set with a ballerina tutu of course! They loved the wintry room with all the sparkly sweets and ballerina and Nutcracker touches. It was truly a sweet wintry wonderland filled with visions of sugar plum dreams and certainly sweet things! We had the ballerina dress especially made for this party so my daughter could feel like a true ballerina! Of course she loved the dress and didn’t want to take it off. This has been one of my favorite parties that I’ve done so far!”

Winter Nutcracker Ballet Themed Ballerina Birthday Party

This next party feature is amazing…A WINTER NUTCRACKER BALLET THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Carla Thomas of Palm Beach Parties. Such a darling winter themed birthday party! LOVE it. And what a perfect place for a little girls party- a dance studio!
Here is what Carla said about her party- “My daughter Ava has been in ballet for 4 years now, so when she asked for a ballet theme birthday party it was only fitting! At first she told me that she wanted simply pink and white, but for me, that theme would be what everyone would expect from a ballet party. We came to the agreement of a Nutcracker theme since Christmas is not far from her birthday and the Nutcracker is her favorite ballet…well the only one that she has seen since she is only six. And what better theme than the “Land of the Snow” scene from the ballet! I got to work on designing an invitation and other social stationary. It was a fantastic way to incorporate both the ballet and the upcoming snow season (not that it ever snows in south Florida but we can pretend). The wonderful staff at her dance studio, Atlantic Arts Academy, were so gracious to allow me to host Ava’s party at the studio. The party started with the talented Mrs. Rose teaching all 14 girls a lesson to the sounds of the Nutcracker ballet. The girls were all giddy and smiles from ear to ear! I’ve never seen Ava have so much fun! Not only was she doing what she absolutely loves…dancing ballet…she was surrounded by all of her favorite girls!”Vendors: Jennifer Weiss Photography Atlantic Arts Academy Sugar Chef Cakes DD’s Cupcake Shoppe Tutu Sweet Tutus Shop Sweet Lulu Polka Dot Market Delectable Delights Nuts Online Kimmy’s Cake Pops
