Stefanie said- “Thiswas an outdoor inspired Mickey Mouse Clubhouse 2nd Birthday Party. I had thejoy of designing this 2nd birthday for a cool, hip and adorable little boynamed Josiah. The party took place in Ozone Park NY and although I love the urbanlook for parties, I thought it would be cool to bring more greenery to the cityblock. I accomplished this through handmade texturized trees, clouds + outdoorelements like the kite and hot air balloon.All of the decor was handmade. I made the kite out of wood paint stirrers, anold blanket + rope. The hot air balloon I freehanded + assembled from commonobjects like rope, left over fabric + beach bucket. The large wall trees are ablend of paper lunch bags, and tissue paper. All of the signage was reused woodfrom past home construction projects and free-hand painted.”
