Here’s what Rachel said about planning the party- “When our daughter, Cayden, said she wanted a snowflake party, I knew right away that I wanted it to have a soft, girly feel with lots of pink, creams, and grays. Textures in the form of knitted sweaters and tulle played a big part as well. Mother nature helped out by dumping 2 ft of snow the week before, ha!

While guests enjoyed pony rides and a petting zoo outside (despite the snow on the ground, it ended up being a beautiful day!), hot chocolate with handmade cozies & snowflake shaped marshmallows were passed out.

To complete the party, guests filled up their own goody bags with treats from the favor bar set up. This party was a blast to style and we ended up with one very happy 5 year old :).”

Snowman Themed 5th Birthday Party

This darling SNOWMAN THEMED FIFTH BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Dunja Moralić of wunderschoen-gemacht! I just love all the glitter and homemade snowmen!

This is what Dunja said about planning the party- “This was the party I did for my sweet daughter for her 5th birthday celebration. She loves the snow so much. The sweet-glittery snowman cards were used as invitations to the guests with glittery confetti snow and ice crystals filling the transparent envelopes.

To decorate the table I used the infinite design possibilities of our metal chandelier: with punched out and then stitched chains, glittering confetti, and improvised snowmen the chandelier became really wintry. The snowmen I discovered accidentally in the DIY store. Magnificent! The silvery  bodies fit perfectly with the color concept. Only the hideous nose and buttons I had to remove and replace them with pretty accessories: star sequins, party glam, buttons, feathers, ribbons, …. oh, that was a fun :-)

Everyone got a photo snow globe as their place card at the table, with a day and night side. I used the same template as the snowmen for the invitations. At the end of the party each child replaced the photo with their own portrait. (Using the photos taken during the party… there were beaming faces: beautiful!)”

‘Let It Snow’ Christmas Party!

My next party feature goes to this fun LET IT SNOW CHRISTMAS PARTY submitted by Elsie Butler of Sweet Scarlet Designs. Doesn’t this party just give you the feeling of fresh fallen snow? Love the whole design and layout. The tree as the main focal point was such a good choice…it’s beautiful! All the party elements are just lovely. The best part- You can purchase this “Let It Snow” printable party collection for only $10 here. Combine that and great party supplies from PartyMart and you’re set! Here is what Elsie said about her party- “It’s almost Christmas! Doesn’t it seem to turn up on the door step so fast? For St. Nick’s impending arrival, I have designed this very traditional Christmas Printable Design Set – “Let it Snow”. For some reason I always hear Dean Martin singing that in my head whenever I type it! This is a modern take on a very traditional theme – a little bit fair isle and a little bit modern silhouette. I wanted to create the illusion of a beautiful winters dessert feast when designing and photographing this table – I hope I succeeded. This DIY Printable Party Set is available in my Etsy shop and includes cupcake toppers, monogrammed party dots, bunting, water and wine bottle labels, large and mini candy bar wrappers, straw flags, gift tags and gift cards. All for just $10. Just print, trim & create. Let it snow, let it snow, let snow!” Vendor Credits: Design: Sweet Scarlet Designs Photography: Elise Butler Cellophane candy bags: Treat Tubes Candy Jars: Sharnel Dollar Designs Diamond 3-tier cake stand from Earthborn Silver-plated sugar scuttle and Fruit Platter sourced from eBay and flea markets
