These North Pole cupcakes popping up everywhere are just darling. Take a look at my next party feature, a HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS PARTY, submitted by Cathy Cattaneo of Five O’ Five Design+Paperie. SO cute. I just love all the fun treats. Can’t beat those reindeer peeps on sticks! Everything is just darling.
Here is what Cathy said about the party- “I created this party to display my new printable set and give some easy and inexpensive ideas for anyone hosting/attending a Kids Christmas Party this year. I wanted everything to be very lighthearted and child-like, of coarse Santa had to be included. Thank you so much to my good friend Monica of Andary Studio who captured the party perfectly and Tracie’s Sweet Treats for coming through at the last minute with delicious Red Velvet Cupcakes.
My main inspiration came from the adorable North Pole Cupcakes found on Kara’s Party Ideas here.
To create the hot coco cups simply dip the rim in red chocolate and then again in red sugar sprinkles. This can be done a few days in advanced to save on time. The milk bottles were Starbucks frappuccino bottles cleaned and wrapped with drink bottle label topped off with 2% milk & a red polka dot straw. The Rudolf suckers were chocolate Rudolf peeps on a lollipop stick – pretty simple but way cuter then throwing them on a plate. Milano Cookies were dipped half way in red chocolate and then dipped in crushed up candy canes/peppermints. The reindeer doughnuts were made with chocolate covered doughnuts, pretzels cut in half for antlers, white chocolate chips for eyes and red balls for noses – make sure you remove the noses before serving ;).
This party was created with mostly inexpensive store bought items displayed in a super cute way. Totals: The desserts cost a whooping $25. All in all the party was less then $100.”Vendors:Holly Jolly Printable Set – 505 Design+PaperiePhotography – Andary StudioRed Velvet Cupcakes – Tracie’s Sweet TreatsPeppermint Table Cloth & Place Mat, Square and round plates – Christmas Tree ShopPolka Dot favor boxes, Straws and Cupcake Liners – The Bakers Confection

And next up, this amazing NORTH POLE BAKING CHRISTMAS PARTY submitted by Anders Ruff Custom Designs! This party is beyond adorable. FULL of details, details, details. Love the whimsical, magical feel to it all. I want to jump right through my computer screen and join them!
Here is what Maureen said about their party- “When I think back to my childhood memories of ChristmasI immediately think of the warmth and comfort I would feel when seeing images of The North Pole. From Santa and his reindeer to the stockings, mittens and candy canes, these were a symbol of the “feeling” of Christmas. There is a certain nostalgia that those North Pole “symbols” bring and that I want to carry the tradition of in my own family.
This year, we designed a North Pole inspired collection that is perfect for adding style to any Christmas party or gift, but also has elements perfectly tailored for a Cookie Exchange or baking party.
For our dessert table for this North Pole Cookie Exchange party, we wanted to highlight all of the fabulous cookie vendors that have contributed their desserts throughout the year to our parties and holiday photoshoots. With simple red cake stands on a stark white table cloth, we wanted to make a bold statement while focusing on the beautiful works of art – the cookies! Some of the cookies were embellished with printable party flags to incorporate our graphics.” ….{continued below}
{continued}…”A framed printable poster of a graphic of santa was hung on the backdrop (Cute little santa poster is included in our new North Pole collection!)
DIY – To add some whimsical style to the windows around the backdrop of the dessert table, we made circle garland out of our patterned papers. We printed 2 sided cardstock from our patterned papers from the printable collection. We then punched the paper with various sized circle and scallop craft punches and sewed the circles together, leaving a little space in between. We hung this garland over the dessert table window and around the hood of the stove.
The front of the dessert table was adorned with precious coordinating felt stockings from RikRak. We embellished some of those with printable party logos from our collection.
For the cookie exchange party, the children sat at the bar and started out by mixing and baking some cookies. We setup dishes with ingredients to make it easy. The kids loved cutting out the cookies, and especially enjoyed eating them. We displayed vintage glass milk bottles with paper straws and party flags, since you always need milk with your cookies.
We also setup a Hot Chocolate Bar where we displayed different ingredients in little ramekins on our red cake stands. We displayed a printable hot cocoa bar menu and labeled the ingredients with party flags. Marshmallows, cookie and cream crumble, old fashioned peppermint sticks, red hots, whipped cream and more! Two Sugar Babies made some adorable fondant gingerbread men that we used to decorate the display as well. The children loved mixing their own hot cocoa with the various ingredients. They were all garnished so differently and that was a very easy activity for the younger children to participate in.
Our new Printable Advent Calendar mittens were hung from the fireplace mantle and filled with small candies. Gifts were packaged and we introduced several new printable gift tag collections that we displayed on the gifts. Santa stamp gift tags, hangtags and circle tags all coordinate perfectly with the complete collection.
The party ended with the kids unwrapping all of the gifts that they got each other! This is a tradition we will continue for years to come.
The “North Pole” Collection Printable gift tags, decor collection, hot cocoa bar set, advent calendar and invitation are available in the shop on sale!”

You’re going to LOVE my next party feature. It goes to this absolutely adorable MERRY + BRIGHT COLORFUL HOLIDAY CHILDREN’S CHRISTMAS PARTY submitted by Michelle Knox of I Do Invitations by Michelle. SUCH a cute party! I love the bright cheery colors…even the little guests were in matching attire! This party is chuck full of fabulous inspiration and DIY projects. Like the wreath for example- spray painted! Even the candlesticks were spray painted {purchased at the dollar store, even better}. Everything about this party is just divine.
Here is what Michelle said about the party- “First, the main dessert table. My husband and I spray painted a fake wreath we bought at 40% off at Hobby Lobby a lime green color to keep with the theme. I then wrapped ribbon around it and added some matching picks to the wreath that ended up being a main focal point to the fabric backdrop. My hubby also spray painted glass candlestick holders from the dollar store that I used as accents to hold large ornaments. Spray painting stuff goes a LONG way! You would be amazed at all you can do with one little can :) All of the sweets were just amazing – custom cookies from The Cookie Jar, fondant cupcake toppers from Lynlee’s Petite Cakes, chocolate covered oreos by Sweeties, Santa Hat Cake Pops by Lillycakes and the beautiful fondant cake made by a local gal, Brianna Weichel. Oh and I just LOVE LOVE LOVE the pink cake stand from Danielle of OliviaDru on etsy! I made the snowman donuts inspired by a photo I saw on Pinterest and also dipped marshmallows in white chocolate and added some colorful sprinkles :)
The second “Merry” table displayed the girls goodie bags with a matching custom label. I used teal washi tape around the fuchsia bags from Shop Sweet Lulu. The “MERRY” banner and ribbon garland was made by the fabulous Nancy of A to Zebra Celebrations. I made custom water bottle labels and even decorated my clock to match! :) I took my curtains down and decorated my window using colorful ornaments and fish line for a nice display.
In the dining room, I added poms from Pom Love on my wall (to cover up the picture frames I normally have there). Each child had their own matching name cupcake topper at their place setting. I just love the matching plates and napkins I got from Polka Dot Market. The beautiful flower arrangement came from Town and Country Gardens. My hubby spray painted the vase and I added the decorative snowflake and a few lime gems so even the vase coordinated with everything! :) In the corner, I made the DIY yarn ornament trees by simply wrapping yarn around foam tree forms I bought at Hobby Lobby and hot glued some sparkly decorative balls on to act as the ornaments! And a snowflake for the top – perfect! They are probably my favorite element and were SOOOO easy!
Last but certainly not least, the absolutely ADORABLE outfits all of the girls are donning were just BEYOND perfect! Handmade tee’s by the amazing Rachel of *golden*, custom hair pieces from Frills, pettiskirts from Lilies and Things and adorable necklaces from Miss CoCo Designs. The girls all looked absolutely adorable and this would be the perfect outfit for your girly girl to wear during the holiday season or birthday party :).
All of the paper products are available to purchase in my etsy shop as DIY printables for your child’s holiday themed party for only $30! {Invitation, Cupcake Toppers, Food Labels, Water Bottle Labels, Banner, + lots more!}”
The next party feature goes to this super cute CHRISTMAS CARD WRITING PARTY submitted by Jennifer Needham of Double the Fun Parties. What a fabulous idea!! Why not gather around all your friends to write your Christmas cards! Get all of them done and written at once while eating yummy desserts!
Jennifer said- “For years now, I’ve wanted to host this party. I can’t be the only one who secretly finds writing Christmas cards just a wee bit tedious, can I? I’m not a Grinch; I just find the number of cards and personal messages a little daunting during the crunch time between Thanksgiving and Christmas. So, I thought it would be more fun to write my cards surrounded by friends, and, of course, sugary treats. And that’s just what we did.
Lucky for me, Sarah Brown ofBrown Paper Goods offered the perfect party invitation — modern, with polka dots (naturally), and traditional Christmas colors with a pop of blue. Sarah kindly designed a complete party set for me to coordinate with her invitation: banner, bottle wrappers, food labels, cupcake toppers/favor tags, and most importantly, Official Letter to Santa stationery. Our Etsy shop features this entire party kit – a complete party for 8 delivered to your front door – including all of Sarah’s cute printables AND one dozen cupcake toppers from Edible Details — for just $148 HERE!We started the party around the sweets table, which featured the Merry Christmas banner from the printables set, as well as glitter ornaments on a red backdrop.Desserts included cupcakes capped with custom toppers from Edible Details that mimicked our stamp and red envelope (with a little green seal). To make a two-tier stand, I turned a green pottery planter upside down and added a white lunch plate. The desserts also included giant peppermint sticks, peppermint bark, mint M&Ms, gum drops, and macaroons. The peppermint sticks are in a paper mache container that I covered with red wrapping paper and two bottle wrappers. (By the way, the peppermint sticks came in cellophane, but it wasn’t cute, so I re-wrapped them using a 12″ treat bag. Just cut a small slit in the center bottom of the bag, slip the stick through the slit, and tie the top of the bag with a thin ribbon.) The macaroons (from Etsy seller Bokolette) included Red Velvet (red), Spiced Caramel & Apple (red & gold dust), Pistachio (green), & Vanilla Olive Oil (light green) — so tasty! With treats in hand, we moved to the table write our cards and letters to Santa. While moms wrote our Christmas cards, our boys and girls wrote their letters to Santa. They took this very seriously! When the children finished their letters, they addressed their envelopes to “Santa, North Pole” and placed them in our special mailbox so they would go directly to Santa.”Vendors:Party Kit: Double the Fun PartiesPrintables: Brown Paper GoodsCupcake toppers: Edible DetailsMacaroons: BokoletteSugar cookies: Sugar & FlourJOY embellished wooden letters: Dwelling Online
