Israel Independence Day Party

This festive ISRAEL INDEPENDENCE DAY PARTY was submitted by Lilach dan Gur of Partix.

This independence day party has a lot of versatile ideas that could be used for so many party occasions, from a birthday party to a graduation to an end of summer party. Some of my favorite ideas are:
  • The scalloped edge paper pinwheel cupcake toppers
  • The clear favor boxes filled with candy and topped with sparklers
  • The over-sized photobooth props
  • and MORE!
Lilach said this about planning the party- “This month will mark 65 years of independence for Israel, so in honor of the occasion our party is all dressed blue and white like Israel’s flag.”

Lemonade Stand Birthday Party

This adorable LEMONADE STAND BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Jessica Roberts of Quilted Polka Dot. Oh my goodness, I just want to jump into these pictures and join all the fun! What a darling party!!

Jessica said- “I wanted to make a lemonade stand for my little girl this summer and decided she needed a whole party created around it! I wanted this party to be girly – pink of course – but also include some of my favorite summery things like strawberry red, oceanside teal blue, and sunflower yellow.

It would be a perfect party at any age for birthdays, baby and wedding showers, or any get-together!

I love using old things and giving new things that old feel. I also like to throw in the unexpected – like using a kitchen scale with lemons instead of a traditional cake (that no one eats), an over-sized magnet board as part of my backdrop, my daughter’s play plates instead of throw away ones, and double stacked cake stands for height and visual interest.”

Aloha, Hawaiian {Goodbye} Summer Birthday Party

Saying goodbye to summer is always so hard for me. I’m such a sunshine and sand kind of girl. Sigh. Today’s winning party feature is perfect…an ALOHA SUMMER {GOODBYE SUMMER} BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Anna & Blue Paperie! Such a gorgeous party! Stefanie did an amazing job. LOVE the creative wreath made out of drink umbrellas. And take a look at the handcrafted hibiscus flowers on the CAKE by DK Designs!
Stefanie said- “I incorporated warm and inviting colors of yellow, orange and fuchsia. A color palette that cheers for celebration! My goal was to create a look that could be recreated for children and adults and one that could be used for any occasion or event. Hibiscus flowers in the party’s color scheme were used throughout the party printables including cupcake toppers, dessert labels, kids table décor and party favors.
The dessert table consisted of cupcakes with fondant toppers from Two Sugar Babies & Aloha themed cookies from Cookies Are My Canvas. The centerpiece for the table was a cake adorned with eco-chic hand crafted hibiscus flowers by DK Designs. My sweet hubby helped me make the colorful layered cake. His engineering skills came in handy! A happy and colorful bed linen print with bright swirls of flowers and paisley from Pottery Barn Teen was used as the backdrop for the dessert table. The dessert table was adorned with large paper flowers that were added to the backdrop. I made a table skirt using raffia hula skirts and I added a garland in matching party colors using leis from Party City. Celebration candles, candy cups and stripy straws were purchased from Sweet Lulu.
The birthday girls wore adorable custom rosette tanks created by Modern Frills and had matching flower hair accessories made by Looking 4 Lilly.
The guests were greeted at the door and welcomed with leis and hula skirts. Using inspiration from Kim at The Tomkat Studio’s Fairy Party tutu centerpiece, I made hair clips from a flower bouquet I purchased at a dollar store. The flower clips were added to tree branches I found from our yard which made the perfect centerpiece for our family room. Girls chose their favorite flower clip to go along with their aloha accessories. Activities for the party consisted of coloring hibiscus flowers and beach themed coloring pages, a paper leis craft station, hula lessons and a tiki piñata.”
