You are going to love this gorgeous PINKALICIOUS 6TH BIRTHDAY PARTY submited by Suzanna of Mon Tresor! Everything is divine. So many party ideas here!
Suzanna said- “This was a pinkalicious themed party I styled for my sweet niece Mikayla’s 6th birthday. Featuring a pink and gold colour palette and based on the storybook ‘Pinkalicious’. Of course, it had to feature the colour pink, and seeing as I have 2 boys I jumped at the chance of styling a party where the colour palette was pink, pink and more pink! We ended up using different shades of pink with touches of gold and silver.
The AMAZING cake featuring ombre pink ruffles, a sweet bow and a gold sparkly crown and wand made by Marie from Couture Cupcakes and Cookies. Along with the cake, Marie also made sparkle wand cookies, cake pops and cupcakes in differing shades of pink.
A beautiful pink meringue tower sat proudly on a gold pedestal. Other features of the table included, a gorgeous handsewn pink tuelle tablecloth, 3ft pink balloons complete with ribbons and gold tassles and a backdrop designed by me.
The children’s table settings were pink and pretty with my favourite child size replica ghost chairs in clear, complete with ombre pink ruffle sashes. (These are avail to Hire through Mon Tresor)”

What an amazing soiree this AFTERNOON IN PARIS BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Kathy Swasey is! The giant poodle pinata is incredible! And take a look at the gorrrrgeous birthday cake!
Kathy said- “I planned my daughter’s birthday party six months in advance! She wanted an afternoon in Paris and the party came out great. The pictures are very nice too. We live in central America so we have different traditions such as pinatas and clowns.”
This precious TWINKLE TWINKLE LITTLE STAR BABY SHOWER was submitted by Lisa Costin of A Charming Fete. I love the idea of centering a baby shower {or a birthday party} around a nursery rhyme / song! If you’re planning a shower and need some ideas then look no further than this darling celebration.
Here are the party details from Lisa-
“This was a glamorous but whimsical “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” baby shower. We wanted to do a fresh take on this classic theme. We added TONS of handcrafted details, such as: DIY paper star garlands and “barber pole” dowel rod/star centerpieces, and blue ikat print table runners. We also added lots of sparkly, glittery details to really up the glam factor. Here are some more details:
Decor:
We used 1 long, dark wood guest table to seat all 25 guests. The massive overhanging chandelier set the stage perfectly for a “twinkly”, glittery celebration! We created a chic 25 ft. blue ikat table runner to pull in all of the shades of blue and to add a modern touch. Silver chargers also added an extra element of glam. We created 4 tall, blue hydrangea centerpieces and added (hand-painted) blue and white striped “barber pole” dowel rods and glued silver stars on top (we used paper mache stars painted in silver metallic and large stars cut from silver glitter card stock). It was a pop of fun to add to an otherwise ordinary floral arrangement. We added powder blue and white striped straws to each guest’s water glass to mimic the barber pole vibe. The menus and place cards also lent a modern vibe. Silver glitter stars were glued to each guest’s place card. The favors were added to each place setting (mini tea infuser with cup and saucer- filled with blue candy and draped in blue satin ribbon).
The Dessert Table:
We wanted the dessert table to be a focal point of the room- sweet with handcrafted details but glitzy and glam with lots of sparkle. We created 12 paper star garlands in 2 shades of blue and dangled them from the backdrop using fishing wire. A large metallic silver frame hung behind the center of the dessert table. We painted an ordinary frame with metallic silver paint and sprayed it with glitter. The letters, “twinkle, twinkle little star… do you know how loved you are?” were cut from ordinary card stock using a Silhouette Cameo machine. We also created custom cupcake toppers from blue and white paper straws and silver glittery stars. We kept the dessert items simple yet delicious (and inexpensive!): white chocolate and blue drizzled pretzels, vanilla meringues, cupcakes with blue icing and handmade scalloped wrappers, star shaped cookies, baklava, blue rock candy sticks and an adorable cake. We also swagged long crystal strands from the front of the dessert tab le for a little extra sparkle and mounted DIY tissue paper puffs to cover to top points. We created simple star-shaped dessert labels and placed them in mini crystal-like place card holders.”

I am dying over this LUXE CIRCUS SIP AND SEE BABY SHOWER submitted by Maddy Hague of Somewhere Splendid! Everything is just divine. This party must have been a wonderful event to attend…just look at the couch that guests could lounge on. The garden setting couldn’t be more lovely, too.
Party details, description & vendor list at bottom of post…
Party description and details from Maddy-
“This was a sip and see for my newborn daughter. The party has a Luxe Circus theme, incorporating bright, bold colors and accented with gold – my daughter’s nursery colors. Instead of going over the top with the circus theme, we used circus animals as a theme and incorporated them through the design of the tablescape, the vignettes, and the paper goods. Plastic animal figurines were spray painted in brilliant gold to mimic vintage brass animals, and smaller animals were placed at every table setting while larger animals were used in other vignettes.
The party has a modern aesthetic that is softened by a more organic floral style and vintage rentals. The florals also have a sentimental touch, incorporating peonies and bright red-orange honeysuckle from our family garden, as well as garden roses, the flower I planted in our backyard in honor of my daughter’s birth (a tradition my father started and I am continuing). Dani from Studio Fleurette also added another personal touch by tipping the peonies in gold paint for a little bit of sparkle, which in turn inspired me to treat the brownie pops on the dessert table with brilliant luster dust at the tops.”
