Halloween Glam Party

This fun HALLOWEEN GLAM PARTY was submitted by Debbie of Wants and Wishes Design! I love the little haunted house milk boxes and all of the decor!

Debbie said- “I’m so excited for my new Halloween collection with you Kara… I wanted to create a glam Haunted House that was spooky while still being fun, glamorous and whimsical. Our collection includes a haunted house carton that you can filled with treats for a little favor or that you can let them fill as you “Trick or Treat” at the table. I used the spiderweb window in the milk carton as the backdrop in the dessert bar to make it look like the we are “in the haunted house”. We staged our dessert table to look like it was in the cellar of a witches spell binding den. Bats are hanging upside down from a broomstick we made {tutorial coming on our website- less then 5 minute broomstick and under $5}. This is great for a prop or a costume!  We had monster candles lit flanking the “ding dong the witch is dead” treat and coffin boxes with Dracula sugar cookies. A cage held “fresh bats” {Hershey bars} for ingredients needed in spells and potions. Other desserts were gummy toads and “glittery” cupcakes. my favorite treat I created for this collection is our ding dong the witch is dead. We took a ding dong and drizzled green chocolate to make it look like a witch was melting and attached our witches feet printable to it {from our printable collection}. Happy Haunting!!!!  For a fun Halloween activity we made “Haunted House” gram cracker houses, like gingerbread house but spooky and with chocolate gram crackers. You could also make with sugar cookies and color the dough!.  The kids haunted houses are really quite fun because they are not perfect with creaks and droops that look extra haunted! They even took pieces of broken graham crackers and made signs and multi-layered parts. Purple grape red vines were used as trees. One little guy didn’t really want to decorate as much as fill his house with the candy.”

Pink Glam 1st Birthday Party – Pink Halloween Party

Today’s party feature goes to this sassy PINK GLAM 1ST BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Carissa Brown. Such a fun and girly 1st birthday party! Perfect for that little spunky 1 year old. What says sass better than some zebra print and hot pink?! So cute. Love that fuchsia high chair!
Here is what Carissa said about the party- “I planned and hosted this party myself and had the event professionally photographed by Liz Thomas Photography. The theme of the party was anything pink, girly and glam with a little pumpkin twist.Upon arrival at the party, guest were greeted to a chalkboard arrow sign, from Michael’s, that my husband, Chris painted and I made and a wreath with some sparkly flowers. We also placed pumpkins in black urns flanking the entrance that my husband painted with a “1”. The dessert table was dressed in a custom made tablecloth of black & white stripes and polka dots. Chris and I made the pink tissue rosette “D” that we attached to an oversized mirror to create the backdrop for the table. The menu place cards are wooden Halloween cutouts that I painted with chalkboard paint and glittered. Desserts included mini caramel apples, rice crispy pumpkins, sugar cookies, chocolate dipped pretzels, cupcakes and a smash cake. Drinks were served in mason jars with vinyl chalkboard labels and black & white straws garnished with “Delaney”, “is 1!” labels that I made.Guests munched on mummy dogs, fruit, guacamoldy, mac n’cheese and veggies. The homemade mac n’ cheese was packaged in cute individual containers creating a unique display. I had a custom runner made for the food table to coordinate with the dessert table tablecloth. I found a vintage highchair on craigslist, Chris painted it high gloss pink and I made the birthday girl’s party hat from a zebra folder. Several weeks before the party I took some celebration photos of Delaney and I enlarged them to display. I placed one in an ornate black oval frame above the highchair to add drama. The party was so much fun!”Vendor Credits:  Photography: Liz Thomas Photography  Etsy: Braden’s Grace – Vinyl Chalkboard Labels  Sweet Shop LuLu – Balloons & Straws  Menu Place Cards – Michael’s  Etsy: CustomCutees – Black & White Bloomers  Oval Frame – Ikea  Garnish – Mac N’ Cheese Containers
