I fell in love with this beautiful TIFFANY INSPIRED HOUSE WARMING PARTY sent in by Daisy Kelvin of Leo & Bella. I mean, how cute are those delicate tiffany blue cupcakes and skeleton key cookies?!
Daisy said– “Here is my tiffany inspired housewarming party for a girl’s new bachelorette pad. She requested something feminine & elegant and the first thing that pop into my mind was blue, white and black an inspiration drawn from a stationery set by Polkadot Prints that I fell in love with.
I decided to use all clear jars, cake stands and vessels to bring a little vintage into the table as most of the pieces on the table are antique which also complements the mirrored buffet that we sat the dessert table on.
Guest were served champagne and desserts. We had cake pops, mini lemon meringue, banana cupcakes and the yummiest Panna Cotta by Helen of Kiss My Cakes. Also on the table we had the ‘Bastille’ Moët & Chandon + Black Current macaroons in white and a Violet and Blueberry baby blue macaroon from Melbourne’s cutest macaroon vendor La Belle Miette. We have 2 candy jars filled with orange blossom and vanilla Persian Fairy Floss and 2 jars of white chocolate macadamias. The gorgeous Noo from Dessert Menu, Please created the cutest Tiffany key cookies on the table and smaller ones filled in mini apothecary jars as a take home gift.”

I absolutely love Paris. This “PARIS IN THE SNOW” BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Rebecca Billig of Verlockendes {Germany} is so dreamy. Oh how I would love to see Paris in the winter time!
“This party had a beautiful pink and black color scheme. The polka dots added a special touch, too. Delicate pink favor boxes with pink nail polish inside were wrapped in pink and black ribbon and adorned with Eiffel Tower stickers. Pudding, cake and bon bon’s were served. A hat box was used to display the chocolate bon bon’s and a cute white end table was used for the rest of the desserts. As a final touch, faux snow was sprinkled everywhere.”
This next feature will make your jaws drop. LOVE the originality of this DENIMN AND SUNGLASSES PARTY submitted by Linda Harper or Australia’s Harper Event Design. This party was styled for a corporate Christmas party- but could easily be a fabulous birthday party theme. I’m dying over the sunglass sugar cookies by Kiss My Cakes! And the jean pocket border around the table- SO cute! What a fun party theme! Here is what Linda said about the party- “This dessert table was created for a corporate event (Boutique Homes) for their Christmas Party. The theme was “Sunnies Master, Denim Disaster”. The client wanted LOTS of colour and prizes were awarded for the worst dressed guest :)
I wanted to do something a little different so created an outdoor feel buy doing a clothes line for the backdrop and incorporated the denim in the blue colours and pockets at the front of the table.
I had a number of sweets including cupcakes, cake pops and cookies along with lots of lollies. I also included 2 jars full of sunglasses for guests to take and pop on for their “photo booth” pics.
I hope you enjoy all the colour!”Vendor Credits:Cupcakes, cake pops, cookies: Kiss My Cakes

Take a look at this! A fabulous PINTEREST CHRISTMAS PARTY submitted by Sarah McAffry of Sarah C Photography. In light of Sarah’s current Pinterest obsession she decided to host a party to let her friends actually complete some of the projects they’ve been pinning. GENIUS! She picked four DIY projects and had all the supplies ready. Everyone showed up with their scissors in hand ready to get to work! After some yummy holiday appetizers {pizza puffs, easy cheesy bean dip, peanut butter cheese ball and DARLING Santa hat brownie bites), they crafted until the supplies were gone.
On the list was a moss covered wreath, a Christmas card ribbon garland, a rustic candleholder and a NOEL sign. Everybody left with three or four projects to decorate their homes with!
Sarah created a 12 page downloadable pdf with all of the project instructions and recipes! Now you can print it out and have all the instructions to make these items on your own…or hey, throw your own party! Download the pdf here.
Don’t forget, you can download a 12 page pdf booklet with all the project instructions and recipes seen in this post! Follow thislink to download.
Today’s winning party feature goes to this amazing 1950s HAPPY HOUSEWIFE BRIDAL SHOWER submitted by Kio Kreations! WOW, Now this is FUN. A bunch of talented vendors came together this past June to create this lovely shoot. Everything is just perfect! You must check out the DIY mini soap bottle aprons {tutorial, etc below}!
Kristen of Kio Kreations said…”Inspired by 1950s housewife meets Katy Perry and Dita Von Teese, we came up with a bright, cheeky bridal shower theme that every Peggy Sue would love to be a part of! And what’s more fun than getting dolled up like a happy 1950s housewife? Making all of your girlfriends join you in the fun!
Of course, no 1950s wife-to-be would be complete without a scarlet lip! To modernize the look, a cherry red lipstick with a little bit of clear lipgloss was applied to all the guests at this shower. Some flirty faux lashes and winged eyeliner completed their retro look. Soft waves, short rolled bangs and feminine curls that bounce inspired the hairstyles. All of the ladies also dressed in 50s styled dresses and wore adorable vintage floral aprons.
We put out the perfect spread of vintage cake stands, cupcake trays, and Coke bottles and made faux sundaes with the “IT” flower of the 50’s—carnations! We also included cheerful gerbera daisies in the mix. All of our “desserts” were topped with polka-dot button flowers, which also adorned some of the yummy vanilla and chocolate cupcakes. A few of the cupcakes were additionally decorated with felt polka dot cupcake toppers.
Button bobby pins with 3-D flowers, rhinestones, and fun stacked buttons served as the favors for the bridesmaids! They also had a blast making little mini aprons for their dish soap bottles to wear.
With all of this cheeky fun, this is one shower they’ll be talking about for decades to come!” Thanks for your submission, Kristen! Such a wonderful shoot! Congratulations on being today’s winning party feature!
