This divine PARISIAN CAFE THEMED BABY SHOWER was submitted by Roberta Ferraz of Studio Decor Eventos.
This baby shower is so elegantly styled! Some of my favorite elements are:
The macarons displayed in tea cups
The truffles served on mini spoons
The mismatched chairs and china at the table settings
and MORE!
Here’s what Roberta said about planning the shower- “We made this unforgettable party to celebrate the arrival of baby Lorenzo. This baby shower was all inspired by a Parisian atmosphere. The Mommy-to-be asked us to accomplish this beautiful baby shower with all those wonderful details that made references to ‘Café à Paris’.”

This super creative BOOKWORM THEMED FOURTH BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Angela Jackson of Taffie Wishes.
I love so many things about this party! The bookworm theme is perfect for a birthday party, baby shower, or play date! A few of my favorite elements in this party are:
The bookworm and apple shaped cookies given as party favors
Here’s what Angela said about planning the party- “My son Isaiah recently turned 4 and is mid-way through his first year of Preschool. Seeing how much he enjoys going to school and learning new things, I decided to throw him a Bookworm themed birthday party. We invited a few of his little friends who are also in their first year of school, plus their moms – for a play date party!
I set up my dining room to look like a fun, kid friendly library – complete with plenty of balloons, colorful books, and a comfy reading nook. Each child was asked to bring their favorite book. When the guests arrived they were given a bow tie / hair bow clip and a pair of ‘reading glasses’ to wear.
The children’s activities included coloring bookmarks and ‘writing’ their very own story (with the help of a package of stickers and the writing skills of the moms!). We also had story time, when we read the books the children had brought and the stories they wrote! It was so cute to hear what those little minds thought up!
We shared a light meal of meat cheese & crackers, fruit and vegetables – which were served in brightly colored paper bowls. For desert, each guest was given an individual dirt cake (complete with gummy worms) in lieu of a cupcake or piece of cake. Other treats included cherry sour balls and adorably decorated sugar cookies.
At the end of the party each child gathered up their favors in a beautiful personalized book bag.
This was a small party which was quite simple to put together, and the children LOVED it! I would recommend this party theme to anyone with young children!”

There are so many sweet elements in this hot air balloon party! A lot of these ideas could be used for a birthday party or a baby shower, too!
A few of my favorite parts of this celebration are:
The sweet framed photo party favors
The amazingly intricate hot air balloon shaped cake
The hot air balloon cake pops with chocolate truffle “baskets”
This charming “WHAT WILL IT BEE?” BABY SHOWER was submitted by Kelli McCarthy of Parties By KLM.
There are so many cute things about this bumblebee baby shower! A few of my favorites are:
The striking backdrop made out of paper fans in assorted sizes, colors and patterns
The sunflower cupcake topiaries
The honeycomb pattern Oreos
and MORE!
This is what Kelli said about planning the party- “I created this bumblebee themed candy table for the baby shower of a close family friend. The theme of ‘What Will it BEE?’ seemed to be a perfect fit as the nursery is yellow, grey and white and since the mom-to-be doesn’t know if she’s having a boy or girl. There was a wide array of candy and desserts such as, baby peeps, baby penguins, ‘honeycomb’ chocolate covered Oreos, ‘Ba-BEE’ Oreo Pops, Flower Oreo Pops and cookies. I created two baby cupcake topiaries to look like sunflowers with fondant bees buzzing around. The glowing mommy-to-BEE loved everything :).”

This precious GENDER NEUTRAL SPRING SOIREE FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Belinda Blackwood of Littlechair.
I love the simplicity and all of the delicate components of this party! It has so many sweet ideas that would be perfect for both boy and girl parties, as well as baby and bridal showers. A few of my favorite elements of this gender neutral spring soiree are:
The mini ribbon banner cake topper
The painted wooden spoon and water balloon activity
This is what Belinda said about planning the party- “When we shared our news of a new baby due to arrive in September with our 2 children aged 6 and 3, there was much discussion about what ‘Season’ this baby would be born in! It was decided that we should put flowers into the garden to welcome our baby in spring…and so in April we lovingly placed Freesia bulbs deep into the ground around our home. During the weeks that led to Baby’s arrival we noticed with much excitement one by one the freesias start to appear randomly in our garden beds. Each Beautiful Freesia seemed to take us another step closer to our baby’s arrival and we all welcomed the distraction while we waited.
Our Baby Boy arrived on a beautiful spring day in September last year, and as I walked to the car on the way to the hospital I could smell freesias in the air, and see the cheerful dots of color throughout our garden beds. Of course our 2 excited children greeted us in hospital after baby’s arrival bearing a beautiful bunch of hand-picked Freesias which sat in a vase beside our bed for our stay.
I did not remove the bulbs from the garden after they had flowered as ‘they’ say you are supposed to do….and to our surprise, one by one our Freesias have flowered again this spring…just in time for our Baby Boys first birthday.
We decided on a “Spring theme” for Ned’s 1st Birthday Celebration using bright yellow and orange to complement the freesia’s we had in our garden. We set up the party table in our nearby “parklands” and enjoyed a morning of fun with close family and friends.”
