Easter Dessert Buffet + Party! FREE Printables!

This fantastic EASTER DESERT BUFFET + PARTY was submitted by Cris McGrath of Crissy’s Crafts!

Such a cute party with so many adorable ideas! Perfect for Easter or any spring soiree! Some of my favorite elements in this Easter party are:

Here’s what Cris had to say about planning the party- “I always have a blast styling a party using Amanda’s Parties To Go printables! Amanda has the most adorable and colorful designs.

The dessert table was full of easy and colorful treats that were a feast to our tummies and eyes! To create the pallet backdrop, I glued several pieces of scrapbook paper found at Hobby Lobby to a foam board. I attached the Happy Easter Banner from Amanda’s free Easter collection and added mini wreaths to the backdrop. The sweets included Kisses push up pops, Tulip cake pops, Hershey’s chocolate, chocolate eggs, chocolate bunnies, jelly beans and sweet popcorn. I kept the sweets simple and focused on the presentation using a lot of Spring items and took advantage of the huge items included in the printable set to really make the party pop. The party activity was to build and paint your own bird house, and of course we had an Easter Egg Hunt as well! It was a fun and happy way to welcome Spring and celebrate Easter!”

Graduation Party + FREE Printables

I’m really excited to share this GRADUATION PARTY {using FREE printables} submitted by Cris McGrath of Crissy’s Crafts! Sooo adorable and fun! My little 4 year old just graduated from preschool and he would have loved this!

Here is what Cris had to say about the party- “May is Graduation month and it was a pleasure to style this Graduation Party using Bird’s FREE Graduation Printables. This party was planned and styled in 48 hours thanks to Bird’s printables! Printables can turn a simple party to an extraordinary event! Since I didn’t have enough time to bake, I purchased all the bake goods and dressed them up using cupcake toppers and chocolate stars. The sweet table include diploma rolls (swiss roll), fancy cakesters (added some gold sprinkles), cupcakes, almond kisses, mini Reese’s cups, push up cupcakes and caramel popcorn. To bring color to the table, I used yellow lanterns and I wrapped a foam board with royal blue wrapping paper and made mini banner using yellow card stock with blue ribbon. Since I didn’t have time to order or bake a cake, the centerpiece was a blue and yellow tissue poms to coordinate with the printable. I embellished the goodie bags, popcorn cups, drinking glass using the printables. We also served pretzel diplomas, pineapple star bites, blueberry, vegetables toast and tomato, fresh mozzarella and basil as appetizers. We got some photos props such as GRAD glasses and headbands from the Dollar store for the “You are a Star” photo booth. THINGS YOU WILL NEED:

1) 8.5 X 11″ Letter Weight & Card Stock Paper compatible with your printer 2) Avery 8293 (1.5 inch round) Ink Jet Label Sheets 3) Scissors, Paper Cutter or Xacto Knife, Metal Ruler & Cutting Mat 4) Double Stick Tape & Clear Tape 5) Baker’s Twine or Ribbon 6) Straws & Toothpicks

The invitation & the monster valentine’s day card are available to personalize, download and print from shareholidays.com. CANDY BAR WRAPPERS: Print PDF pages on 8.5 X 11 inch letter weight stock. Trim and wrap around bar securing ends with double stick tape.

ROUND STICKER SHEETS: Open PDF and print. Make sure you select PAGE SCALING = NONE in the print window. (Very important so that the design lines up properly). Print onto Avery 8293 label sheets. Peel and stick to decorate packages, envelopes or anything else.

STRAW FLAGS & ROUND DESSERT TOPPERS: Print PDF on either card stock or letter weight stock. Trim flags and fold on dotted line. Open flat and place a 2 inch strip of double stick tape across the fold. Make sure there is no tape hanging off the edges of the flag. Wrap taped area of flag around stick pressing paper together on flag ends.

Trim round toppers using a 2″ circle punch or scissors. Using tape, secure onto the top of a toothpick or bamboo skewer. Insert into cupcake or dessert. Now just download and print the Free Monster Party kit!”
