This is what Feather said about planning the party- “I am a huge fan of the show Duck Dynasty and wanted to put together a duck themed set up to celebrate the new season of the show. It was extremely exciting to coordinate the details with a few wonderful vendors on this set up. With my primary focus on ducks, I knew I needed lots of mossy oak, grass and camouflage. I designed coordinating printables with camouflage ducks for the set up. Designs by Nicolina worked her magic on the backdrop poster “It’s a Party Jack!”, Treats 4 Ta-Ta’s did a fantastic job on duck themed cookies, Kima’s Konfections created a very detailed cake topper scene of ducks swimming in water, Painting Paris Pink contributed party paper straws for the juice bottles, Cupcake with Character designed camouflage cupcake wraps and Peckled created a festive “Quack” banner. Everything coordinated perfectly and came together nicely with the duck theme. I photographed and captured all the details of the set up and items from these wonderful vendors that also included a couple of items from Kara’s Party Ideas Shop! It was a fun and exciting set up!”

This is what Catherine said about planning the party- “Little Duckling’s Party was initially designed as a custom request from a lovely customer in America. She wanted to have a Duckling theme for her daughter’s 1st Birthday Party with a vintage feel. As with all my Bumpkin Party Designs I hand illustrated a storybook style scene with a very fluffy duckling floating out in her Lily on the party pond, complete with gift and bunting! As a great supporter of my business she was keen that this theme should be suitable for my shop as well so both pink and blue versions were created, making it charming for baby showers and birthdays for little girls and boys.

To launch this new range I created a garden party using my Granny’s antique furniture and vintage toys. The Desert Table was given a whimsical touch with a duck family waddling across the Victoria Sponge Cake. Food Signs of Duckling in a Boat, Mini Bunting & polka dot Straw Flags floated in the breeze! The colours of yellow, pink and white were accentuated with hand picked flowers from my garden, nestled in vintage china jugs. Home made Vanilla Cupcakes with little jolly strawberries on the icing and duckling & monogram wrappers added a fun splash of colour. When this family of ducks floated over the pond to America my little 1 year old client had a very happy Birthday Party. Complete with adorable hand embroidered dress with a Lily border (stitched by her Mum from my matching Bumpkin Embroidery Pattern), duckling shoes and hair accessory! Lily flower Pinata, finger painting, Party Hats, delicious duckling cookies and cake kept them all entertained. Thank you gifts of soft Ducklings nestled inside Lily Flowers were sure to add to the happy memories of this special day.”

Oregon Ducks Themed Birthday Party

Check out this awesome OREGON DUCKS THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Lauren Borquez of Capes and Crowns! Such a fun and original party theme! A lot of sports themed party ideas here!

Lauren said this about planning the party- “My husband was born and raised in Portland Oregon so even though we live in my home state of Alabama we are HUGE Ducks fans! I had a terrific time putting together his Oregon themed dessert table this year. With the obvious green and yellow color a must, O’s couldn’t be left out either. I decided on a green and yellow paper chain backdrop and also included classic football elements where I could. One of my favorite details was Puddles (the mascot) playing a heavy role in the decor. He’s such a fan favorite and our little ones really enjoyed him being a part of their Daddy’s celebration. Danielle McCann captured all the details of our day and a wonderful crew of talented vendors, many of whom are from Oregon themselves made this day even more special!”
