Here’s what Julie said about the party- “For this dinosaur party we used a lot of items we already had, purchasing only the food, the cardstock that we picked up from Hobby Lobby, and the one dollar plastic dinosaurs from Target and the Dollar Tree. We reused the tree stumps as well as the grasses from other parties we had thrown. From our photos you can tell that we utilized our Silhouette Cameo a lot! For the six year old dinosaur party, we planned out several organized activities for the kids to do. The first activity included making dinosaur fossils out of coffee play-dough that we stored in glass jars for the kids. The kids chose a jar, rolled out their coffee play-dough, and pressed small plastic dinosaurs into the the dough which we then baked during the duration of the party. Another dinosaur activity we had the kids do was to make a stegosaurus using their hand print. Using their hand, their thumb was the head, their palm the body , and their fingers the four legs of the stegosaurus. We cut triangles out of card stock before the party that the kids could easily glue to the bodies of the hand print stegosaurus. Plastic googly eyes completed their dinosaur. The kids were read the book “Dinosaur Roar” by Paul and Henrietta Stickland. They also participated in a dinosaur dance, where they would dance like various dinosaurs. For more details on the party, they can be found here.”

Dinosaur Adventure Party

I’m dying over this DINOSAUR ADVENTURE + PALEONTOLOGIST BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Cris McGrath of Crissy’s Crafts! Not a detail was left out when it came to this darling party! So many fabulous ideas!

Crissy said this about planning the party- “A dinosaur party that takes young paleontologists back to prehistoric time! This party is packed with fun activities that any Dino Hunter would love to dig in! The sweet table was turned into Jurassic Park by adding dinosaur figures, edible dinosaur eggs, silk leaves and pterodactyl pops.

Activities include a Dino Egg Hunt, Dino Dig and a Color a Dino Station. Dino Hunters were treated with a lunch that pleased carnivores and herbivores alike. They were served a fun plate with dino nuggets, broccoli(trees) and eggs(olives). Sweet treats included a Jurassic Park cake, dino egg pops, dino cookies, dino pretzels, pterodactyl chocolate pops and sweet popcorn.

The Dino Hunters were supplied with their own Dino Hunter hat, canteen, binoculars and egg hunt bag to explore and hunt the Dinosaur creatures and their eggs. After the hunt was over, our young paleontologists took home a dino-mite surprise goodie bag filled with prehistoric goodies. It was a Jurassic Journey that will please any boy and/or girl!”

Dinosaur Themed 4th Birthday Party

This adorable DINOSAUR THEMED FORTH BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Cristina Hermelin of Chic Up Your Party. I just love the design elements and colors used!

Here is what Cristina had to say about planning the party- “This was a Dinosaur Themed Party for Maximilian´s 4th birthday! It was an authentic paleontologic adventure filled with fun and many unique details. Max loves dinosaurs and his wish for his 4th birthday was a party with many dinosaurs and to have an explorer adventure with all his friends. All the details were based around the theme “ A Paleontologic Adventure” – personalized “explorer” tags were distributed to all the children as well as unique paleontologic brushes to create a one of a kind experience. To create a perfect setting a special sand pool was created were all the children could dig & discover for dinosaur fossils.

All styling was inspired by earth tones and vivid orange color, one of Max’s favorite colors. Having the invitation as inspiration every detail followed the same line, from the cake to the cookies to the table top painted with the same colors and with the same stripes. The decor details were based on nature and the outdoors, with wooden plates, cutlery and rustic cups and plants that served as the perfect setting for all the fresh veggies&fruits and delicious food.

And to top it all Max and his friends were on an adventure created especially for them by Pedaços de Aventura an adventure in Parque de Palmela in search of dinosaur eggs. A true paleontologic success!

A very special thank you to Catarina Zimbarra Photography for the most stunning photos and capturing all the details and Max´s happiness!”

Orange and Green Dinosaur 4th Birthday Party

What a fun take on a dinosaur party! This cute ORANGE & GREEN DINOSAUR 4TH BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Karolina of Karo’s Fun Land.

Karolina said- “I threw this Dinosaur Party to celebrate my twin nephew’s 4th birthday. Last year they were all about Toy Story. This year they’re more active, adventurous, and sooo loving dinosaurs. So I thought they were gonna love a dinosaur theme for their 4th birthday. Sure they did!!! My Inspiration for this party started with the color palette from the Anders Ruff dinosaur printable. I just simply love those happy and fun colors. From there I decided to put together a table with some fun themed treats which included green dinosaur rice krispies, bugles corn snacks simulating dinosaur toe nails, dino-mite jellos and vanilla cupcakes with dinosaur toppers from Edible Details. Yum Yum!! And because my nephews love balloons I included two giant orange balloons to the table decor. The kids looove them! For the centerpieces I just wanted to do something simple, but fun. I filled some jars with rocks, fake grass, and dinosaur figurines. They turned out T-Riffic!!!! The cake was also simple, but totally cool. I decorated a plain vanilla frosted cake with shredded coconut, and topped it with my nephew’s dinosaur toys which were wearing party hats. There were also dinosaur footsteps which directed thirsty guests to the dino-mite drink station. I definitely had the best time styling my nephew’s birthday party. They already named me as their official party planner WooHoo!! We totally had a blast and a roaring good time!!!!” VENDOR CREDITS:

Rustic Dinosaur Twins Birthday Party

My next winning party feature goes to this double-the-fun RUSTIC DINOSAUR TWINS BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Miranda Konieczny of Whimsical Printables. Another fabulous Dinosaur party! Such a fun party theme to work with because there is so much available in this theme! LOVE the darling mini cake bunting flags on the cakes. The whole setup couldn’t be cuter. Here is what Miranda said about the party- “My twins love dinosaurs! Soooo… of course they wanted a dinosaur party! They really like the more “real life” dinosaurs and it was a little difficult to find any printables with this theme that I had invisioned so I created my own! I wanted a more rustic version of the theme as well. My idea was burlap, wood, very natural like. My color choices were burnt oranges, army greens, and browns. From that came this wonderful party that I truly had fun creating and watching my kids enjoy! I used fabric for my table covers and dishes under the fabric to raise some of the items. My huge cupcake stand was made by my sister and brother-in-law along with the wooden cake stands. I purchased $1 dinosaurs and used all that my boys already had as decor. I wanted a simple background for the dessert table so used the burlap with tacs. Each child got to go home with their own miniture dino dig and the dino in the egg cup. (by far my favorite decor). The nest in the middle of the childrens table was one package of different types of moss from Hobby Lobby. Also purchase there was my fabric, ribbon, and frames, all on sale! I wanted my children involved in the creation so they painted the backdrop behind the childrens table (with just a little help from me in the end…) I also created and printed the subway art for the backdrop. I chose not to put anything to do with birthday on it because I wanted to hang it in their room! The frame… $7 at Hobby Lobby! Oh Yeah! I sanded the edges to make it more rustic! As with tradition, each of our boys get their own cake. I hate that they have to split a birthday so they can have their cake and eat it too! I’ve switched to a smaller cake with lots of cupcakes for all the party guests too! Works wonders! Cutting a cake is so not my thing! I used gable boxes with the handles folded inside for the thank you gifts, purchased from Hobby Lobby.” Vendors 1) Photography- Amy Craft Photography 2) Printables- Whimsical Printables 3) Food Boxes- Cute Kids Food Box 4) Clothing- -Plum Blossom Baby -The Paisley Store -Dark Cycle Clothing 5) Door Wreaths- The Knock-Knock Factory 6) Fondant Toppers on cupcakes and cakes- Lynlee’s Petite Cakes 7) Cupcakes and cakes- Specialty Cakes By Nisa 8) Cake Buntings- The Purple Pug 9) Tissue Tassels on the front of the dessert table- Over The Moon 10) Cookies- Dandy Delights
