Raggedy Ann Birthday Party

I have been waiting very UN-patiently to post these amazing pictures {nicole hill} of this RAGGEDY ANN PARTY…I just had to get the go from Brittany {one charming party}.

Monster Party

i hosted this monster bash a few weeks ago {sorry for the delay in posting}. this party was a halloween party, but you could honestly use this theme for a birthday party at any time of the year!
target had THE cutest monster collection…
and thanks for the inspiration from jamee @ setting the mood! she gave me the faux fur tablecloth idea {fabric purchased at joanne’s} and googly eye idea {i placed colorful googly eyes all around the tables for ‘monster eyes’}.
here’s the invite i made in photoshop… monster frame and stuffed animal {both purchased @ target}…
mini monster toys {found on orientaltrading.com} and monster candy {again, target}…
monster bingo!…
the adorable monster masks were also found on ot {thanks for the assembly mandy!}…
cute monster dish {target}…
i used a trick or treat monster bag to cover one of my pillows….
another cute monster dish {monster toys found on ot}…
monster match and monster toss…
these suckers were a huge hit {again, oriental trading}…
look how cute these monster eggs are! {monster teeth also pictured}…
monster paper goods…
pin the eye on the monster… i LOVE these monster snow globes {i had a large one and a mini one out}…
i made these monster mouths out of apples and slivered almonds!…
green caramelpopcorn {made with green jello!}…
monster eyeballs…i had a monster craft out for everyone to make…
i used marshmallows and white chocolate melts for the monster cupcakes {and attached a cut up black boa to each level of the cupcake stand}…
here’s what i did with the other monster trick or treat bag…covered a box :).
monster rice crispy balls…
guess what the tablecloth is {underneath the fur}…a shower curtain!
here’s a picture of one of the monster crafts that everyone made {little monster bags i found on oriental trading}…and a cute little monster party goer :).
i LOVE this sucker stand i found at joanne’s!…another one of the assembled monster bags…

Pool/Beach Party

i’m finally posting the pool party i did a few weeks ago! i’ve been so busy lately with a wedding and a couple of parties :). i printed most of the paper goods via paper and cake…so cute!! love her stuff!
here’s the invites that were sent out a few weeks before the party {purchased on oriental trading}…
let the fun begin…
havin‘ fun in the pool…
i covered these adorable tarts {that my sisters best friend made} with whip cream, kiwi’s, and a mango syrup. they were so yummy!
i got this unfinished surf board on ebay a few years ago..and painted it…
i made the cupcake toppers out of colorful cut up straws {and paper and cake’s adorable printables}…
we covered the cake with brown sugar for ‘sand’…
i stuck pinwheels on top for an added beach effect :).
the beach ball sippers i found online…
i bought some fun wooden surfboards at michaels that all the kids painted…
dad’s even enjoy painting! :)…
surf rug to dry/drip off on…
fun was had by all…

Robot Party Sneaker

here’s a little sneak peak at the robot birthday party i’m planning. i went to the oil can section {robot’s need oiled up so they don’t rust, remember} for some party decor items & inspiration. i’m getting pretty excited! also coming soon…kenzie’s pool party! stay tuned!

Strawberry Shortcake Party

i did a fun strawberry shortcake party for my cute niece this past weekend. everything turned out really cute! it was a strawberry shortcake day! now all i see when i close my eyes is strawberry shortcake..hehe!
here’s the invite i made in photoshop… and here’s the birthday girl, taya ! here’s the strawberry patch where taya opened her gifts…
the blanket is actually a big strawberry shortcake curtain i found on ebay! i had another curtain too {shown later}… we took strawberry flavored marshmallows and dipped them in chocolate melts to make these cute strawberry pops. we added strawberry malt balls to the tops. really cute and easy! and here’s the strawberry shortcake cake i made. i had to make it a few days early so it kind of melted and sunk into itself. oh well, it still looked pretty cute… here’s the strawberry shortcake party hats…
i wrapped the posters in pink feather boa’s to dress them up a bit. so cute! we made the napkin rings out of strawberry shortcake hair pretties!
here’s the strawberry cupcakes i made…
the other fun cupcakes i made {they were strawberry lemonade cupcakes}… and the final ones i made…
we put poles out front with balloons attached to them… here’s the strawberry shortcake party blowers and strawberry shortcake glasses i put out for the kiddios… i got these flower pots on orientaltrading.com. they came in white, with an insert that you color {that said, i love you mom, for mothers day}. i took out the inserts and used one as a pattern to make my own strawberry shortcake insert for the kids to color! i took a coloring book and shrunk down a few images to cut and clip :). i then spray painted the inside part of the pot red. they turned out really cute.
and yup, those are strawberry plants. all the kids colored their own insert and planted a strawberry :)… here’s the strawberry shortcake coloring books i found at the dollar tree!…
i saw these a few months back on the asian food section aisle in the grocery store. they’re cute strawberry cream snacks!
the strawberry shortcake kisses {i found the stickers on ebay} and assorted candy…
i had a strawberry shortcake puzzle out for the kids to put together…and that they did!
the martha pom pom tree with the strawberry shortcake birthday banner…i found some adorable strawberry shortcake boxes that i put out on the dessert table… we put a cute doily and chocolate covered strawberries inside!
i had taya’s picture printed and mounted {iprintcanvas.com…they are AWESOME! i’ve ordered a lot of canvas prints from them too..LOVE}…
the favors…
i found most of the favor items on ebay.
the drinks… we served strawberry crush…
and strawberry lemonade in cute strawberry jam jars! we cut up strawberries and added them to the lemonade, and also tied gingham ribbon around each bottle…
here’s what we did with the other strawberry shortcake curtain. we hung it from the patio awning…
here’s some strawberry shortcake window clings i found…they were fun for the kids to paint…
planting strawberries…first, coloring the pictures…then the planting…then the water…
and walla…
time to sing happy birthday…
taya opening her gifts…
and last but not least, a close up of one of the fun cuppies…
