Amber said this about planning the party- “I had so much fun planning this party for my daughter’s 11th birthday. Nearly a year ago, she found an idea for a Neon ‘Color Blast Party’ in an issue of the American Girl Doll Magazine and was immediately inspired. She also loves dancing, so when I suggested we make it a neon glow-in-the-dark girls’ dance party, she was sold.

Before the party started, we created a “club” atmosphere with black lights, a large rotating disco ball, and, of course, lots of loud music.

When the guests arrived, they were greeted with a selection of neon accessories to put on: socks, headbands, plastic bracelets, flashing rings, disco ball necklaces, and glow stick bracelets. There were also some extra white and neon clothes hanging up for anyone who needed them.

Once the guests were completely glowing, each girl had her picture taken (to be printed out during the party and then made into color pop art).

After that, the girls sat down for dinner. To eat, there was rainbow pizza and neon orange Cheetos. To drink, there was orange crush and lemon water (with lemons that were soaked in neon food coloring). For dessert, there were color blast cupcakes, luminescent cotton candy, multicolor brownie bites, neon sugar cookies, fluorescent push pops, energizing smoothie shots, and of course, neon birthday cake.

After eating, the girls danced, had their faces painted, colored and cut own their own color pop art photos, and had their hair wrapped with colored thread.

As the girls left, they filled goody bags with candy, including rainbow lollipops, candy dots, gummy frogs, gumball filled gumball tubes, colorful candy canes, hot pink wrapped buttermint creams, and sour gummy dots. There were also some shimmery silver pencils.

All of the girls had a blast. It was definitely a birthday party to remember!”

Mariana said this about planning the party- “This Ballerina Party was developed especially for little Maria Victoria who turned one! Mama Maria Manoella chose this theme because she is a dancer. I simply LOVED working with this color palette so beautiful and soft. We wanted to bring the romance and delicacy to the party … so we used tulle, mannequins, and of course, many custom items for a small and a future ballerina!”

Ballerina 3rd Birthday Party

This BALLERINA 3RD BIRTHDAY PARTY by Liesel & Gitta of Glee Projects is just precious. I love the treat cones, doughnuts on top of the milk filled glasses, the giant cupcake cake, the photobooth, the paper dolls, the doily banners & more!

Here is what Liesel had to say about the party- “We loved creating such a girlie party, from the tulle table skirt and elegant table setting to the cute ballerina seating cards. We designed place mats for each guest, with a little ballerina and wardrobe to color-in, cut out and play dress up! The photo booth was a cut out of the same adorable legs as the invitations, which the little ones could stand behind and strike a fun pose. Guests were welcomed at a mirror with tutu and ballet shoes, and invited to take a headband or bowtie to go with the ballet outfits they arrived in. Rebecca’s mom and dad made all the delicious treats and the amazing cupcake cake. We served popcorn in delicate cones, and created a sweetie bar filled with pink delights. Don’t you love the milk ‘shooters’ with straws and biscuits?!” Photography by Brightgirl Photography

Winter Nutcracker Ballet Themed Ballerina Birthday Party

This next party feature is amazing…A WINTER NUTCRACKER BALLET THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Carla Thomas of Palm Beach Parties. Such a darling winter themed birthday party! LOVE it. And what a perfect place for a little girls party- a dance studio!
Here is what Carla said about her party- “My daughter Ava has been in ballet for 4 years now, so when she asked for a ballet theme birthday party it was only fitting! At first she told me that she wanted simply pink and white, but for me, that theme would be what everyone would expect from a ballet party. We came to the agreement of a Nutcracker theme since Christmas is not far from her birthday and the Nutcracker is her favorite ballet…well the only one that she has seen since she is only six. And what better theme than the “Land of the Snow” scene from the ballet! I got to work on designing an invitation and other social stationary. It was a fantastic way to incorporate both the ballet and the upcoming snow season (not that it ever snows in south Florida but we can pretend). The wonderful staff at her dance studio, Atlantic Arts Academy, were so gracious to allow me to host Ava’s party at the studio. The party started with the talented Mrs. Rose teaching all 14 girls a lesson to the sounds of the Nutcracker ballet. The girls were all giddy and smiles from ear to ear! I’ve never seen Ava have so much fun! Not only was she doing what she absolutely loves…dancing ballet…she was surrounded by all of her favorite girls!”Vendors: Jennifer Weiss Photography Atlantic Arts Academy Sugar Chef Cakes DD’s Cupcake Shoppe Tutu Sweet Tutus Shop Sweet Lulu Polka Dot Market Delectable Delights Nuts Online Kimmy’s Cake Pops
