Beatriz said- “I made a WASHI TAPE PARTY for a 10 year old girl and her friends. Every detail was made with washi tape… bottles, tags, napkins, plates, etc. I created little tags with the initials of their names for place settings and plates. I personalized each bottle to match with a napkin, so everyone had their own style. After the snack, I prepared a crafty workshop to do many things using washi tape. The girls decorated notebooks, jars and picnic boxes and I showed them how to make lovely tags with washi tape and cutters! It was a great idea to make a workshop birthday party, the girls went home with many things made by themselves and had a wonderful time.”

Pinterest Christmas Party! – Printables & Craft Project

Take a look at this! A fabulous PINTEREST CHRISTMAS PARTY submitted by Sarah McAffry of Sarah C Photography. In light of Sarah’s current Pinterest obsession she decided to host a party to let her friends actually complete some of the projects they’ve been pinning. GENIUS! She picked four DIY projects and had all the supplies ready. Everyone showed up with their scissors in hand ready to get to work! After some yummy holiday appetizers {pizza puffs, easy cheesy bean dip, peanut butter cheese ball and DARLING Santa hat brownie bites), they crafted until the supplies were gone.
On the list was a moss covered wreath, a Christmas card ribbon garland, a rustic candleholder and a NOEL sign.  Everybody left with three or four projects to decorate their homes with!
Sarah created a 12 page downloadable pdf with all of the project instructions and recipes! Now you can print it out and have all the instructions to make these items on your own…or hey, throw your own party! Download the pdf here.
Don’t forget, you can download a 12 page pdf booklet with all the project instructions and recipes seen in this post! Follow this link to download.

Circus Fabric, Cupcake Display, & Circus Toys

I have some fabulous finds for my upcoming circus party to post! I’ve been looking for prize toys for my prize booth…could these toys be any more PERFECT?! And the best part, I found them at dollar tree while out of town last week :)!..Darling little circus toys…And cute circus animals…This is a cupcake display that I found on a random website a few months ago…I put it together this morning. Isn’t it so stinkin‘ cute?! I can’t wait to see it with cupcakes…And here’s the fabric
So I was at ikea yesterday and randomly came across this fabric..It’s not really circus fabric, but I think it’s perfect! There’s cute flag pennants, polka dots, stripes, and banners running up & down it. I’m going to sew it into some table cloths!…And here’s some fun circus fabric I purchased at the fabric store…
I think I’m going to make table runnersout of these pieces…
I just couldn’t pass up this piece either. I’m going to cut out some of the circus scenes & apply them to cute t shirtsfor my birthday boys to wear. I’m not exactly sure what I’ll do with the rest of it but I’m sure I’ll come up with something :)…
And this adorable fabric is going to be the back drop of my photo booth! I’m going to take close up head shots of the guests with clown noses on…and will print the pictures to look like actual photo booth strips…
And last but not least…my other fabulous ikea find!! Isn’t this bed canopy darling? It has circus written all over it, too :). I was so excited when I found it! The pennants, so cute..the polka dots, love ‘em! I already have a large circus canopy that the gifts are going to go under…but I’ll find a good place for this one now too!…Check back soon for my carousel yard poles & circus train cupcakes!
