Pumpkin County Fair 9th Birthday Party

This amazing PUMPKIN COUNTY FAIR NINTH BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Wendy Updegraff of Wendy Updegraff Photography will blow you away! What a darling party theme! So many cute ideas here that would be perfect for any fall celebration!

“We celebrated my sweet Bella’s 9th birthday with a backyard bash with some country flair. The theme was Pumpkin County Fair and we tried to make it a little feminine by sticking with pinks, oranges & black. All of the decorations were a labor of love by my very talented mother and myself…and my wonderful mother-in-law helped out with the baking. My son and a friend of the family were our “carnies” and I think they were the two cutest carnies I have ever seen. They did a great job helping the younger kids with all of the games.”

Here is what Natalie had to say about the party- “This was a laid back County Fair style dessert table with traditional English treats. I made some of my families favourites as a special treat. I have six kids, two sets of boy/girl twins and two single girls. They all just love dessert!! Sweet treats included Raspberry sponge, Wild blackberry sponge, Rhubarb Pie, Fruit filled meringue, Scones and jam, Sticky Chelsea buns, and Seasonal fruits and jams.” Credits: Party Styling and Food- Half Dozen Designs Photography- Rhian Askins

Country Picnic 3rd Birthday Party

This COUNTRY PICNIC THIRD BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Paula of Blog Holamamá is absolutely precious. I love the lace and brown paper everywhere. The sandwich wraps and cake toppers couldn’t be cuter, too.

Here is what Paula had to say about the party- “I would like to share with you my daughter’s birthday party. Clara was turning 3 and we created a great party with the theme “country picnic”. Cristina form Nice Party prepared it all for us with lovely details like a fruit metal basket and a liberty flowers garland.”

Shabby Chic Roses & Pinwheels 1st Birthday Party

This SHABBY CHIC ROSES AND PINWHEELS 1ST BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Bethany Jenkins. Too sweet for words. What a delicate and lovely party!

Here is what Bethany had to say about the party- “Jocelyn’s first birthday party was planned, hand-crafted, and catered by her mom & dad with help from her “Gams.” When we set out to plan her party we knew we wanted to do something shabby chic. Even at the young age of one we know Joss (as we call her) is an old soul and a vintage look fits her to a “t.” We decided to celebrate her birthday at our home with 65 of our closest friends and family. We knew we wanted a way to seat everyone together so we constructed a 48’ table with hay bale seating down both sides. The table was covered with fabric and a custom fitted shabby chic mini rose table runner. We accessorized with fresh pink roses in recycled glass bottles and monogrammed burlap wrapped candles. Joss held court at the head of the table in a vintage high chair passed down for 3 generations in her Daddy’s family. Her toddler guests were seated at an 8’ farmhouse table with matching table runner accessorized by handmade pinwheels and party hats in coordinating papers. For dinner guests were served pulled pork sandwiches wrapped and sealed with a monogrammed label, corn on a stick, macaroni and cheese, and baked beans. In lieu of plates each item was individually portioned and placed on a recycled cardboard tray. Guests were offered monogrammed bottled water, sweet tea in mason jars, or glass bottled soft drinks to quench their thirsts. The serving table was garnished with lace, a pin-tucked pink overlay, and a burlap runner along with pinwheels, vintage candle sticks, and a portrait of Joss. The gift table offered matching linens along with a variety of photos, pinwheels, pennant and old fashioned hard candy to give out as a “thank you” for attending her celebration.” Candy Sticks, Jars, Paper Straws, Pinwheels, Twine, Burlap, Nut Cups- All available in Kara’s Party Ideas Shop

Milk and Cookies Wedding Shower Party

My next winning party feature goes to this stunning
Milk & Cookies Wedding Shower Party
What a beautiful Party/Wedding Shower!
I just love the country rustic feel.
The centerpieces were a collection of items from Anthropologie, Pottery Barn, thrift stores, antique shops, and things they already owned. For the seating, they went with hay bales to play off the country theme.
They made the napkins with a variety of patterned fabrics and tied heart-shaped cookie cutters around them with twine.

Amazing job, Love & Lavender.
Congratulations on being the winning party feature today!

For the guestbook table they made a sign with Josh and Ellen’s “recipe for love” detailing the highlights of how they got together in recipe form. They had cards for guest to write their own “recipes for love” and a recipe fox for them to file it away in!Photobucket
