Yo Gabba Gabba 1st Birthday Monster Party

Take a look at this adorable YO GABBA GABBA 1ST BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Chelsea Scott! I’ve had a lot of readers ask for a good Yo Gabba Gabba themed party…well this is it! I love how Chelsea dressed up simple elements- like plastic cups, and made them look fabulous! Here is what Chelsea had to say about the party– “Wilco Byron’s 1st birthday party was always going to be a very special milestone for us. I suffer from endometriosis and was told from a young that there was a very small chance I would ever conceive naturally. I actually discovered I was pregnant at a routine check-up for my endometrioses, Wilco is our little miracle! I decided quite early on the theme for Wilco’s party. Ever since he was little he has always happily sat in front of Yo Gabba Gabba and it’s been one of the only things that could calm him down when he was being grumpy. I didn’t want a Yo Gabba Gabba decoration overload (+ we live in New Zealand where Yo Gabba Gabba isn’t very well known so it’s hard to find themed things) so I decided to incorporate bright, primary colours. The highlight of the party was the amazing three tier Yo Gabba Gabba cake and 150 cupcakes made by the fabulous Kylie at Lots of Love Cupcakes, and yes they tasted as good as they looked. Wilco has brought so much happiness, colour and life into our lives and I wanted his party to reflect that. We had a fabulous day celebrating with our amazing family and friends, it’s definitely a day we’ll remember forever. I hope you enjoy the photos taken by the amazing Cat & Ange from PoppyMoss Photography.” Vendors:

The first weekend party feature goes to this absolutely darling COLORFUL MONSTER BASH PARTY submitted by Kate Petronis of And Everything Sweet.

This is beyond adorable. What a fun birthday party this would be! All the monster treats are to die for…look at the monster arm cookies used to ‘build your own cupcake monster’!! Soooo cute.

Here is what Kate said about the party- “Last night we had a monster bash. It was such a fun time! A big huge thanks to Amanda Parker from Shindig Parties to Go. She has a brilliant party mind. The monster collection she created really brought this party to life. I had 23 kids over for this party, it was crazy!! The kids played carnival games, adopted pet monsters (which I made), and decorated their own cupcakes. It was a great time!”
Thanks for your submission, Kate!
