Spooktacular Halloween Party

Lindi said this about planning the party- “Hooray for fall and hooray for Halloween! It’s my most favorite holiday and I am anxious for the chili cook-offs, trick-or-treating and of course, Halloween Parties to commence. In an effort to help you prepare for your upcoming festivities, I’ve styled a ‘Spooktacular Halloween’ party with lots of fun ideas on how to throw the perfect boo bash. I wanted to created a theme colorful and bright to appeal to children under 5, but also throw in just enough spooky to delight the older children as well. My 2012 Halloween Collection served as the inspiration for this party and can be purchased here for only $10.”

Candy Corn Themed Halloween Party

This sweet CANDY CORN THEMED HALLOWEEN PARTY was submitted by Kate Petronis of And Everything Sweet!

Here is what Kate had to say about planning the party- “If you’re like me and my family, you LOVE candy corn!!! So when Halloween comes around it is time to bust out the candy corn and party!!! ;) This year I found the most adorable candy corn collection from Mimi’s Dollhouse. I LOVE this design that Holly created using the perfect balance of chevron and polka dots. It was exactly what I was looking for when I had a candy corn dessert table in mind!! I love the way it came out. I created really simple desserts (rice krispie treats, top hat mini cupcakes, lolipops (that I found at the dollar store), and cake pops) all resembling (obviously) candy corn. I also added a little salty snack of cheese puffs (at this point, why try to add anything healthy right?!) to the table in cute little dollar store boxes that I covered with crepe paper streamers to again, resemble candy corn. ITS ALLLLL about the candy corn on this table!!

My daughter and her friends had SUCH a great time. We did a Halloween treasure hunt using scavenger hunt clues to lead the children to different treasures (all stuff I purchased last year at post Halloween sales). We did a cute owl/pumpkin craft as well. And followed it up with desserts and good old fashioned play. :)”

Classroom Halloween Party!

And the last halloween party feature goes to this super cute CLASSROOM HALLOWEEN PARTY submitted by One Charming Party. This is just too fun. The idea of adding some dry ice to some regular apple juice is just wonderful! I love the doughnut tree, cornstarch and water mix {gooey slime}, the spaghetti noodles {brains} & long pretzel sticks {dried up bones}! Goes to show that you can throw a great halloween class party with a few simple items. Thanks for your submission, Lyndsey!
