Celebrate Themed Birthday Party

Awesome party idea WEBSITE full of cute party ideas! Kara's Party Ideas | KarasPartyIdeas.com #birthday

This playful CELEBRATE THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Tammy Mitchell of Pink Peppermint Prints.

Why not let the theme of the party be celebration itself?! Some of the ideas I like best in this colorful celebrate themed party are:
  • The gumball machine on the dessert table
  • The milk bottle rims coated in sprinkles
  • The over-sized glittery clothespins
  • and MORE!

Here’s what Tammy said about planning the party- “I’m so used to creating “themed” parties for my kids, that when I was asked to put a little something together for a friend, it threw me for a loop not having a specific theme to work with. That’s when I realized that just celebrating the birthday in and of itself was a good enough theme! I decided to just make it colorful and fun…like something that would make you want to party! :) I whipped up a new party printable set that is a generic “Happy Birthday” theme if you will, so that it will apply to all ages and genders. I didn’t have a huge budget, so I used all things that I had around the house and that I was able to find in dollar bins at Target and at the 99cent store to pull it all together. I also handmade a couple of quick and easy elements and food items. I think it turned out to be something really cute, fairly easy to pull together and relatively inexpensive… three of my favorite things! ;)”

This charming BOY SWEET + CANDY SHOP THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Clionadh Twomey of The Sweet Treat Co.

I love the idea of throwing a sweet shop party for a boy! The red and blue color scheme combined with the assortment of geometric shapes and patterns give this party the perfect touches.

Some of my favorite party ideas are:
  • The two tier cake adorned with a fondant pennant flag
  • The blue and white fabric awning
  • The subway art style printables used for the party signs, food labels, banners and tags
  • and MORE!
This is what Clionadh said about planning the party- “A fun & vibrant boy’s sweet party. Themed in eye catching shades of sea blue, crisp white and an injection of punchy red. A fabulous pick n mix sweet station, a mini soda bar and sweet treats for the all important guests.”

Christmas Sweet Shop 1st Birthday Party

Do you have a child who has a birthday in December? How cute is this CHRISTMAS SWEET SHOP FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Paula Marie of Vens’ Paperie!

Paula said this about planning the party- “Throwing a birthday party close to Christmas time is indeed tricky. I came up with a sweet solution by combining a sweet shoppe theme and Christmas desserts. All thanks to a trip to a local cake shop where I saw them displaying Christmas cookies and cupcakes!

To make it look like a snowy day, I decided to use a light blue fabric with white polka dots as the backdrop. The lollipop cut out graphics on each side of the table really gave the tabletop a sweet shoppe look.

The guests were welcomed with a cute party sign and a red polka dot Santa hat. The Santa hats were embellished with cotton balls and were so easy to create. We just glued them together and had instant Santa hats for everyone.

We cut, punched and glued wrappers to Hershey’s bars and Hershey’s kisses for extra festivity. Plus, we made coordinating cupcake toppers.

I think that every Christmas party might just need a hot cocoa bar. Plus, a buffet of hot chocolate is always a party favorite.

If you’re interested in these printables, the FULL collection (personalized with your child’s name and age) is available in the Vens’ Paperie Etsy shop.”
