This fun CANDY LAND THEMED SECOND BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Chakoda of Chakoda Designs.
A few of my favorite party ideas in this candy land party are:
The tumbling mats used for the rainbow path
The tufted Queen Anne chair holding the paper crowns
The large plastic ice cream cones
and MORE!
This is what Chakoda said about planning the party- “Candy turns 2! So fun & Sweetly Colorful. Wanted to create it as close to the game as possible. All the rentals & props were from
www.chakodadesign.com. They were life size pieces & most importantly kid friendly. Guests loved it! Even non-guests stopped by to take a closer look!”

This super cute RAINBOW CANDY LANDY BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Tierney Williams of Tints and Prints!
Tierney said this about planning the party- “As a mother to three sons, I was ecstatic when my sister-in-law asked me to help with my niece’s Candy Land inspired birthday party. As the owner of a little invitation and announcement card shop on Etsy, Tints and Prints by Tierney, I am honored when family and friends ask for my help. I created an entire DIY Party Package of printables for this adorable party. By pairing Candy Land with bright chevron prints, I updated the classic childhood game with a modern design obsession of mine…chevron!
The kids loved the candy station we had set up with make-your-own fruit loop necklaces, ice cream cone blowing bubbles, and a Guess How Many candy jar. The goodie bag favors were a hit as well, allowing the kids to not only take some classic candy home…but they received their own pocket size miniature Candy Land travel board game, complete with cards and gingerbread men.
The birthday girl was all show when she came to the door dressed to greet her guests…in a custom made Candy Land outfit, made by her Nana, with love. The fabric was purchased at a local craft store and looked perfect with the birthday girl’s fruit loop necklace. I enjoyed every detail of helping with this party, from designing the photo invitation to receiving my coordinating Thank You card in the mail, signed by my very own little sweet niece, Cora.”

Connie said this about planning the party- “I love everything about a Candy Land theme, so I decided to create “A Glittery Christmas Candy Land” to get in the mood for Christmas! I used lots of Candy Land props which I had especially made for me, as well as lots of glittery Christmas decorations. In the centre of the table, I got some lollipop hanging ornaments and made a lollipop tree!”

Do you have a child who has a birthday in December? How cute is this CHRISTMAS SWEET SHOP FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Paula Marie of Vens’ Paperie!
Paula said this about planning the party- “Throwing a birthday party close to Christmas time is indeed tricky. I came up with a sweet solution by combining a sweet shoppe theme and Christmas desserts. All thanks to a trip to a local cake shop where I saw them displaying Christmas cookies and cupcakes!
To make it look like a snowy day, I decided to use a light blue fabric with white polka dots as the backdrop. The lollipop cut out graphics on each side of the table really gave the tabletop a sweet shoppe look.
The guests were welcomed with a cute party sign and a red polka dot Santa hat. The Santa hats were embellished with cotton balls and were so easy to create. We just glued them together and had instant Santa hats for everyone.
We cut, punched and glued wrappers to Hershey’s bars and Hershey’s kisses for extra festivity. Plus, we made coordinating cupcake toppers.
I think that every Christmas party might just need a hot cocoa bar. Plus, a buffet of hot chocolate is always a party favorite.
If you’re interested in these printables, the FULL collection (personalized with your child’s name and age) is available in the Vens’ Paperie Etsy shop.”
