This ICE CREAM THEMED EIGHTH BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Beth of Beth Kruse Custom Creations.
There are so many fun ideas in this summer ice cream party! A few of my favorites are:
The three layer blue ombre cake
The number eight made out of cupcake liners
The cupcakes decorated to look like sno-cones and Rice Krispie treats made to look like popsicles
This enchanting WOODLAND ANIMAL EIGHTH BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Susanne of Susanne Ashby Photography.
A few highlights to look for in this woodland party are:
The treat cones made from paper doilies
The wooden bird house painting party activity
The animal mask party favors
The three dimensional paper butterfly backdrop
The cake decorated to look like a tree stump
and MORE!
Susanne said this about planning the party- “For my daughter’s 8th birthday, we went with a woodland theme. We chose pink and brown as the main colors. I had a lot of fun making the cake (and working with fondant for the first time!). For the party favors, each girl took home a journal and twig pencil as well as a home made sleeping mask featuring different woodland animals. Activities included painting bird houses and playing “cocoon wrap”, which was my daughter’s woodland version of the Halloween game, “mummy wrap”. The treat table included fruity fairy wands, meringue mushrooms, toadstool cupcakes, squirrel mix, acorn cookies, wafer sticks, and hedgehog doughnuts.”

This is what Stefanie said about the party- “I created custom labels and party flags for a sweet customer recently. Candace was planning a party for her daughter’s 8th birthday. Her daughter is a huge Demi Lovato fan and Candace styled a stunning I Heart Demi Lovato Party for the occasion. I loved all of the details from the party so much. The dessert table included chocolate covered Oreos and raspberry coconut cubes, chocolate pretzel microphones, vanilla cake pops, edible image cookies and macarons. The stunning cake was a red velvet cake filled with cream cheese on one tier and lemon cake and cream cheese frosting on the other tier. Yum!”
