Working with the colors pink, lilac, green and white, we create an enchanted world where fairies roam between flowers and candy! It was a delicate feast full of charm and lots of flowers!”

We had been trying for a 2nd child for over 4 years and when we found out we were having a girl (we already had a boy) I started planning her birthday party! I love chevron and pink! Kara’s Party Ideas gave me inspiration and I was able to tweak to fit our party theme and overall look. I bought some of the items from Kara’s Party Ideas Shop, the chalk board labels from Sprinkled Joy. Simply Party did the food labels, straw flags and the favor stickers. My husband and I designed the chalk board print, the photos around the mason jars and printed all the prints and portraits we had taken of her over the year. My husband is a professional photographer with Studio Benton so he took all the detail images and friends took candid photos for us so we could enjoy the party with our 1 year old! It was a celebration of her 1st year and a Thank You to all our family and friends for supporting us!”

Here’s what Lynette said about planning the party- “I always wanted a girly theme for my daughter Georgina’s first birthday. I want something unique but cute at the same time and of course it had to be pink! That’s why I chose the Pink Poodle in Paris theme.

Decorations were made by Gigglebugs Gifts and Parties including the Eiffel towers as centerpieces and the stage backdrop. The pink poodle balloons were all shipped from the US. We set up a mini salon and a photo booth for the guests to enjoy.

The desserts were by Flibby’s Sweets and Treats and Eye Candy Creative Designs helped decorate the dessert table.

Ms. Noreza which is a good friend of my sister made the delicious and very cute poodle cake for our little Georgina.”

Rose Garden 1st Birthday Party

This delightful ROSE GARDEN FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted and styled by Joanne Charmand of Cakes by Joanne Charmand in conjunction with White Room Photography.

This rose garden party is so lovely! A few of my favorite elements & party ideas are:

The pink roses held up by paper straw stems and cake pop bases
The beehive shaped clear glass drink dispensers
The vintage wheelbarrow filled with cotton candy
The white picket fence surrounding the entire “garden” as well as the white lattice backdrop behind the dessert table

Here’s what Joanne said about planning the party- “I made all the cakes, sweet treats and helped style, along with White Room Photography, this “Rose Garden” themed 1st birthday party. It was complete with white picket fences and a colour palette of pink and mint. We even used fake grass indoors! I especially liked the cake shaped into a watering can with roses and the fondant rose cupcakes.”

Princess Cinderella Themed 1st Birthday Party

This absolutely amazing PRINCESS CINDERELLA THEMED FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Alan Phillip of Alan Phillip Photography.

This Cinderella party is so over-the-top stunning, I almost don’t even know where to begin in choosing what I love most about it, but I’ll try! Here goes…I love:

The entire dessert table set up, including the white pergola, the chandelier, the birds holding up the ribbon, the ornate pink table, the silver painted pumpkins, etc, etc, etc…
