This charming ELEPHANT THEMED FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Juliana Han of Elefante Colorido in Brazil.
This elephant birthday party could easily be customized to suit either a boy or a girl. There are also so many fun ideas that could be used for an elephant baby shower! Some of my favorite elements in this party are:
The elephant silhouette party picks
The assortment of green topiaries displayed in various sizes and styles of white milk glass vases
Here’s what Juliana said about the party- “For the 1st birthday of our kids’ party hall, we gave ourselves the challenge to develop a table that would be easily customizeable (so we can re-create it in different colors, for boys and girls, following our guests´ requests). We wanted it to be tasteful and delicate, and not use any specialty, expensive sweets, desserts or cakes. With this, we want to keep the cost affordable for our clients to be able to have a beautiful, customized table, without having to spend a lot of money.
There are many different and beautiful tables out there, that are based on expensive and artfully created sweets, desserts and candies. We wanted our table to be based on common brazilian party treats, such as brigadeiro, pink brigadeiro, coconut sweets and so on.
I think we met all our goals beautifully, since everybody who came visiting us on that day complimented us and liked our table very much!”

This absolutely amazing PRINCESS CINDERELLA THEMED FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Alan Phillip of Alan Phillip Photography.
This Cinderella party is so over-the-top stunning, I almost don’t even know where to begin in choosing what I love most about it, but I’ll try! Here goes…I love:
The entire dessert table set up, including the white pergola, the chandelier, the birds holding up the ribbon, the ornate pink table, the silver painted pumpkins, etc, etc, etc…
The high heel shoe favor boxes
The blue Cinderella gown and silver pumpkin carriage cake pops
The larger than life glass slipper and pumpkin carriage made out of balloons
The birthday girl’s “glass slipper” Converse shoes
This adorable DADDY’S LITTLE PRINCESS FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Justine of Pretty Little Vintage Melbourne.
There are so many things that I love about this sweet princess party! A few of my favorite elements are:
The gorgeous pink ombre ruffle cake topped with a fondant princess crown
This is what Justine said about planning the party- “I recently styled my daughter’s first birthday which was held overseas whilst we were on vacation visiting the grandparents. I’d like to share how and what I did to design the party with the limited resources that I had with me as I was in a different country.
As my daughter was born just 4 days before my husband’s birthday, we took her home from the hospital for the first time on his birthday so when we were deciding on a theme for her first birthday we both knew that “Daddy’s Little Princess” was the way to go.
Styling in a different country was like working with a blank canvas as I had limited resources and contacts. However, I was inspired by my daughter’s ruffle tutu gown to create a special tutu-like princess dessert table. I designed a trestle cover that was made out of multiple layers of tulle which was then custom made by a local seamstress.
Party printables were custom designed by Mon Tresor, and the backdrop was designed by myself. I custom made princess party hats that were embelished with lace and princess veils, converted from regular dollar shop party hats. I also hand made princess tutu cupcake toppers from crepe paper which were sewn together and affixed to pink paper straws.
Accompanying the beautiful ruffle ombre crown topper cake were delicious desserts like Sparkle Fairy Cookie Pops, Crown Cookies with little Princesses names, Pink Macarons, Lemon Meringue, Strawberry Yogurt Mousse and Vanilla Cupcakes. Also, there was a gorgeous display of pink and white colored candy in apothecary jars embellished with a variety of my daughter’s gorgeous headbands. Mini “milk bottles” were converted from juice bottles from a local supermarket.
Other details included pre-wrapped tulle almond candy packs for guests who left early before the candy bar was open, a “Cinderella’s Feet” impressions kit activity for my daughter’s little guests to take part in as they are all still very young which also worked as a keepsake from the party. Each girl went home with a personalised princess story book featuring their names as well as my daughter’s name in the story line. A polaroid booth was also setup for all the guests as well as take-home candy bags for all who came to celebrate this special day. The kid’s table was decorated with tutu chair covers which also doubled up as a take home gift for the older girls.”

This is what Natalie said about planning the party- “This party was SO fun to create. My client’s last name is Berry so she decided to go with the “Strawberry Theme” for her daughter Braelyn’s 1st birthday party. The adorable party printables designed for her party were done by Lauren Haddox Designs. She does a wonderful job!
We used red, pink, hot pink and green for the color scheme. We also threw in some patterns, stripes, polka dots and gingham. The desserts I created were mini cheesecakes with chocolate strawberries on top, cupcakes were chocolate fudge and vanilla with buttercream frosting, strawberry shaped cake pops, fruit skewers, Oreo pops, chocolate covered strawberries, mini cupcakes and original chocolate and vanilla cake pops.”
Such a beautiful WINTER WONDERLAND FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Kristin Austin of Paige Simple Studio! I just love all the gorgeous details and soft colors! So many darling ideas here…
Kristin said this about planning the party- “This party was styled for a friend whose daughter turned 1 in December. Every little detail was planned to fit within the winter theme right down to the editable hanging snowflake cookies! Each food item was ‘winterized’; there was snow on all of the tables and snowflakes everywhere you looked. I’ve seen many winter wonderland parties use pink and aqua, but very few incorporate lavender. Every little girl needs a touch of purple at her party!
Details of the party included hot chocolate cup cozies made from cable knit sweater sleeves, a painted canvas back drop featuring white vinyl snowflake decals, white branches adorned with shimmering snowflake cookies, giant chocolate covered marshmallows, crystallized glass milk bottles, and shimmer snowflake fondant cupcake toppers.”
