Army Camouflage Themed Birthday Party- Kara’s Party Ideas Shop

I styled this ARMY CAMOUFLAGE THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY awhile back, and am excited to finally post about it today!

I set the party up on a regular table, covered in an actual army navy blanket. Above the table was a mock army tent, made out of pvc pipe and pieces of a tent purchased from the Army Navy Supply Store! I went to an antique shop and found old army filing cabinets and bullet boxes, which I used on top of the table for the various party items to sit on!

Party Planning Process / Description

Cupcakes from Dippidee were dressed up with army themed cupcake liners & army themed candles from my shop…

The cake topper was so easy to make! I simply blew up a grenade water balloon from my shop with air {instead of water} and tied it to a wooden dowel. I then inserted the dowel into a cute chocolate cake from Dippidee…

Activity sheets and plastic parachute army men from my shop sat atop one of the ammo boxes, along with a bandana {also available in the shop} filled with “rations”. The tags were simple to make. I used burlap from my shop and rope…

Aren’t these gummy army men from my shop the cutest?!…

Brown paper sacks from the shop were easily made into favor bags. We added plastic doggy tags to the front of each bag, and filled the bag with army themed favors and toys from the shop. On top of it all was fun green and tan krinkle shred, also available in my shop…

Clear plastic paint pails from my shop were filled with army themed toys {also available in my shop}…

The fun army truck boxes were set out for each guest to fill. I inserted brown swirl lollipops from my shop into the top of each box…

I set out a lot of the cute party items on an actual army tray {purchased at the Army Navy store}. Army blow outs, parachute men, gummy candies & grenade balloons from Kara’s Party Ideas Shop…

We used the Top Secret Army tins from my shop as lunch pails labeled as “MRE’s”!

Inside…an actual MRE along with some snack cookies. Lunch pails, burlap, brown bakers twine & krinkle shred from the Kara’s Party Ideas Shop…

Army / camouflage drink containers from the shop were dressed up with cold “winner” metals, also from the shop. The little guests loved them!

“Shrapnel” was simply made with popcorn and green M&M’s!

We cut inexpensive camouflage bandanas from my shop to make the army pennant flag banner that hung across the front of the table…

Another favorite party item was the fun child binoculars from my shop…

And you can’t have a party without balloons! These army themed balloons can be purchased in the Kara’s Party Ideas Shop!

I put juice inside an army green gas can! Don’t worry, the can was brand new, and had never been used. It was washed and as clean as could be :]. Butter mint creams, army themed drink containers, clear plastic treat pail, paper plates & napkins available in Kara’s Party Ideas Shop.

We also cut up bandanas into strips used to tie the favor bags together on top…

The kids looked adorable in these child size army hats available in my shop…

Vintage Pink Cowgirl Birthday Party

This VINTAGE PINK COWGIRL BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Tania Peso of Totful Memories is just beautiful! If you’re planning a cowboy or cowgirl party, then definitely check out this party for some great ideas!

Tania said- “Our inspiration for this party was vintage lace and some sweet southern charm. I designed this collection with my niece in mind and so the simple silhouette of the cowgirl was a cute detail that was used throughout the printable collection. All things girly and oh course, pink were welcome for this sweet lil cowgirl shindig!

We started with the ribbon and lace backdrop, choosing to make the lengths varied to look more whimsical. The pink ruffled pompom cupcake toppers were inspired by a tutorial I saw from Paige of Paiges of Style. So simple and easy to make these cute and girly bobbles!

I have come to love spray paint after styling this party. We purchased the little horse figurines at the dollar store and decided to make them gold along with some buttons so to add a shine to the dessert table. One gold horse was used for the cake topper to our pink ombre cake. The rosette frosting was a new technique for me and although it was not perfect, I think it adds to the ‘handmade by mommy’ look :)

So many details worked together to create our rustic, yet modern cowgirl party; lace doilies, natural burlap, velvet, satin and leather ribbons. The lace cookies were so beautiful, it was hard to take a bite…but we all did, eventually!”

Airplane + Airport Themed Birthday Party

This AIRPLANE + AIRPORT THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Suzie Boluarte of Project Party Perfect is just darling. What a cute party theme that any child would just adore. This theme would also be super cute for a baby shower!

Suzie said- “My son Caiden loves airplanes…we go to the airport at least once a week to watch them land and take-off! So I knew for his second birthday party we had to celebrate with an airport theme. I made all the decorations including the cake stand and airplane topiaries. I found the perfect cloud backdrop form Michaels and made the clouds poms from crepe paper. Guests got their food from the “food court” and got to paint wooden airplanes and make a pilot badge from the “pilot lounge.” Kids left the party with a luggage filled with goodies!”

We filled Mini Pedestal Cups from my shop with banana pudding and vanilla wafers. A cute wooden mini spoon from my shop was set at the front of each cup…adorned with bakers twine.

The sock monkey napkins from my shop are so bright and fun!…

These Cupcake Cups from my shop are good for more than just cupcakes! They’re the perfect size for holding treats and candy, too!…

We filled gumball / candy tubes from my shop with red candies, and tied brown ribbon, also available in my shop, around them…

I hung a monkey from the top of each sock monkey paper cup {from my shop}, and added a red striped paper straw to the inside…

I’m in love with large wooden spools, so I set up the monkey candy bar on top of one!..

The natural wooden trays from my shop were a hit! I also put striped paper bags and burlap bags out for the guests to fill…

Pennant flags spelling “Party” were drawn onto a chalk board with cream chalk…

Red striped candy sticks were placed in a mason jar adorned with ribbon {all items from my shop}…

We tied jute/twine from my shop to the top of each candy jar. Red burlap ribbon, also from my shop, was tied around the middle…

Make an easy cake / cookie stand with toy barrels wrapped in jute / twine and a plate….

Find the brown polka dot nut / candy cups & red gumballs in my shop.

Find the Sock Monkey Paper Cups & Red Striped Paper Straws in my shop.

We made window favor bags for this party, too! The red striped paper bags, ornate paper punch and ribbon are all available in my shop. Easy tutorial on how to make them, here.

I am in love with these striped fry boxes {new to the shop}! They can hold so many things!…

Easily make monkey tails with pretzel sticks dipped in white candy melts! I stuck them in a small mason jar. The cute miniature standing chalkboards are also available in my shop!…
