Crissy said this about planning the party- “I styled this Graduation dessert table using the Grad’s school colors orange and navy blue. Amanda Partie’s To Go has a new Graduation Set that can be customized using any school colors. I created the dramatic and colorful backdrop by wrapping foam board with blue paper, navy blue and orange tissue fans from Oriental Trading and embellished the fans using cupcake circles from the printable set. I purchased the paper mache numbers at Hobby Lobby and sprayed paint them orange. I used my candle holders to display the numbers on my dessert table. As for sweets, we served diplomas (swiss rolls), fruit cups, graduation cap cake pops from Evie and Mallow, marshmallow pops by Maria’s Crafts, Hershey’s chocolate bars, Hershey’s kisses, chocolate cornered pretzels, a variety of candy and caramel popcorn. Guests took home Jordan Almonds wrapped in orange tulles. The table setting was decorated with pendants and caps from the printable set.”

Love Boat Themed Bon Voyage Party

Oh my goodness, how creative and wonderful is this LOVE BOAT THEMED BON VOYAGE “FAREWELL” PARTY submitted by Kenna O’Brien of Miss Party Mom!

Here’s what Kenna said about planning the party- “I was contacted about throwing this Love Boat themed Bon Voyage Party a month before the date, so the pressure was on! I started watching The Love Boat TV series on DVD to try and learn as much as possible so I could get the details just right. I had the help of my good friend Hannah whom I hired to get the dessert table treats made (cookies, cupcakes and cake pops) as well as help with with the decorations.”

Graduation Party + FREE Printables

I’m really excited to share this GRADUATION PARTY {using FREE printables} submitted by Cris McGrath of Crissy’s Crafts! Sooo adorable and fun! My little 4 year old just graduated from preschool and he would have loved this!

Here is what Cris had to say about the party- “May is Graduation month and it was a pleasure to style this Graduation Party using Bird’s FREE Graduation Printables. This party was planned and styled in 48 hours thanks to Bird’s printables! Printables can turn a simple party to an extraordinary event! Since I didn’t have enough time to bake, I purchased all the bake goods and dressed them up using cupcake toppers and chocolate stars. The sweet table include diploma rolls (swiss roll), fancy cakesters (added some gold sprinkles), cupcakes, almond kisses, mini Reese’s cups, push up cupcakes and caramel popcorn. To bring color to the table, I used yellow lanterns and I wrapped a foam board with royal blue wrapping paper and made mini banner using yellow card stock with blue ribbon. Since I didn’t have time to order or bake a cake, the centerpiece was a blue and yellow tissue poms to coordinate with the printable. I embellished the goodie bags, popcorn cups, drinking glass using the printables. We also served pretzel diplomas, pineapple star bites, blueberry, vegetables toast and tomato, fresh mozzarella and basil as appetizers. We got some photos props such as GRAD glasses and headbands from the Dollar store for the “You are a Star” photo booth. The ideas behind the printable designs is that is can be used for any type of graduation party, be it junior high school or college – And Bird is offering these Graduation Party Printables as FREE Printable Downloads to all Bird’s Facebook fans!! Potty Training Party!

You are all going to LOVE this next party. SOOO clever and just plain CUTE. This POTTY TRAINING PARTY was submitted by Mindy Starr of Creative Juice. And that it is- creative! Oh my goodness- I just adore it. Do you have a toddler that you’re trying to potty train? Throw a potty training party to get them on board! The invite that says, “peace out pampers”, the underwear cookies and cupcakes, the “I gotta go” juice cups, the toilet paper wreath, the “potty like a rock star” tags, the “pampers toss” game- it’s all absolutely darling & so perfectly thought out! Potty Party Details from Mindy “In my quest to potty train my daughter I came across a philosophy to “potty train in a day”. Part of the advice was to “throw them a potty party”…well when I see party I sort of tend to go over the top. So that’s what I did. I invited all of her friends over who were “in training” & their personal trainers- the moms – for a Potty party! I looked everywhere for potty charts & things to make it a CUTE special occasion for them. But alas, I found none. So I designed printables to go with this party. Invitation: “Its Official. I’m a big kid. Peace out Pampers! Put on your big kid pants and come potty like a rock star” Theme: gray chevron, pink, blue, & underwear!!!! Food & refreshment: Cake and Underwear cookies Cupcakes Yogurt Parfait with coconut Yogurt dipped pretzels with pink and blue icing drizzle Popcorn cones Pink lemonade & Blue Koolaid in “I gotta go” juice cups! {you are supposed to get them to drink a lot so they will have to go all day!} Moms drank “ personal trainer” water bottles Decorations: “I’m a big kid” picture frames Printable Potty Party Set Toilet Paper Wreath {DIY on the blog soon} Totsie rolls in toilet mug Party hats Spray painted $5 dessert stand Activities: Diaper Toss – Peace out papmers! – Kids threw their diapers in the trash never to be used again! Potty pedi – Girls got a pedicure from your mommy while waiting on the potty! Favors: Each Kid got two favor bags – a #1 and a #2…. With corresponding treats to their respective actions… Yellow jelly beans and tootsie rolls! They also each received a potty chart & a sticker sheet Oh, and a lot of people have asked – YES it worked!” Vendors: Photography & Styling- Creative Juice Cupcake Toppers- Lynlee’s Pettie Cakes Cake & Cookies- Traylor Made Treats Printables- Creative Juice Party Hats, Sticker Chart, Favors- Creative Juice
