Israel Independence Day Party

This festive ISRAEL INDEPENDENCE DAY PARTY was submitted by Lilach dan Gur of Partix.

This independence day party has a lot of versatile ideas that could be used for so many party occasions, from a birthday party to a graduation to an end of summer party. Some of my favorite ideas are:
  • The scalloped edge paper pinwheel cupcake toppers
  • The clear favor boxes filled with candy and topped with sparklers
  • The over-sized photobooth props
  • and MORE!
Lilach said this about planning the party- “This month will mark 65 years of independence for Israel, so in honor of the occasion our party is all dressed blue and white like Israel’s flag.”

We were honored that the very talented event paper designer, Loralee Lewis & her team, came to Utah to work on this project with us. We are so thankful Loralee supported our Boho vision and created the perfect printable collection. It was too much fun working on the details of this shoot! Special thanks to Lookie Loo Photography for capturing these beautiful moments and all the mothers & models for being such stars! Here’s what Monica said about planning the party- “Easter Egg Hunts are not a Spanish tradition, but since we are a half American family, (my husband is from North Carolina) we introduced this holiday to our small town in Huesca. Ever since my oldest son Kevin (11 years old now) was small we have been celebrating this lovely holiday with our friends. This year I was inspired from the little bunnies I found in a store (Deco Palace) in Zaragoza, and I thought it would be nice to make the bunny house the focal point of the table. Using my kid’s doll house I built some planters for it and filled them with flowers that are available in our garden now, the muscaris, and from there everything came easy. It was really fun to style it, and even more fun to have our friends over again!!”

Here’s what Rachel said about planning the party- “When our daughter, Cayden, said she wanted a snowflake party, I knew right away that I wanted it to have a soft, girly feel with lots of pink, creams, and grays. Textures in the form of knitted sweaters and tulle played a big part as well. Mother nature helped out by dumping 2 ft of snow the week before, ha!

While guests enjoyed pony rides and a petting zoo outside (despite the snow on the ground, it ended up being a beautiful day!), hot chocolate with handmade cozies & snowflake shaped marshmallows were passed out.

To complete the party, guests filled up their own goody bags with treats from the favor bar set up. This party was a blast to style and we ended up with one very happy 5 year old :).”
