Mexican Fiesta Themed Birthday Party

This cheerful MEXICAN FIESTA THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY was also submitted by the talented Raquel of Raquel Ferrari Eventos.

I just love that this party not only has a great set up but it looks like it was so much FUN! A few of my favorite party ideas are:
  • The push pop containers used as margarita cups (with a lime for the cup base)
  • The fondant chili pepper cupcake toppers
  • The assortment of photobooth frames, quotes, glasses, and of course, mustaches
  • and MORE!

New York Themed 40th Birthday Party

This fabulous NEW YORK THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Natalia Gerolamo of Laços e Açúcar. Such a fun party theme! This would be perfect for so many occasions!

Natalia said this about planning the party- “My client was turning 40 years old and he wanted something that was not so teenager but also that  was fun!!! Then we decided together NY Theme. He lived in NYC for 10 years and it’s still his favorite place. We tried to bring to the party details of the city such as the cosmopolitan drink that we created a version of brazilian sweet, but in a Cosmopolitan form. Everything was edible, even the lime. As he loved basketball we created a “lounge” with basketball sweets and we used small balls. The cookies were designed as NYC street signs. The chocolate bars were the NYC subway signs and the chocolate truffle was the apples. The yellow cabs were edible too. They are a very famous brazilian sweet called Pão de Mel (honey bread). We also used a NY Times newspaper as background. The cake was the skyline of NY plus everything that we can find in the CITY. We also had the Empire State Chocolate and everyone loved so much.”

Love Boat Themed Bon Voyage Party

Oh my goodness, how creative and wonderful is this LOVE BOAT THEMED BON VOYAGE “FAREWELL” PARTY submitted by Kenna O’Brien of Miss Party Mom!

Here’s what Kenna said about planning the party- “I was contacted about throwing this Love Boat themed Bon Voyage Party a month before the date, so the pressure was on! I started watching The Love Boat TV series on DVD to try and learn as much as possible so I could get the details just right. I had the help of my good friend Hannah whom I hired to get the dessert table treats made (cookies, cupcakes and cake pops) as well as help with with the decorations.”

British Boy Birthday Party! – Budget Friendly Party

My next party feature goes to this lovely BRITISH BOY BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Tina Fussell of Traveling Mama. Tina threw this fun party for her husband who turned 40 and her son who turned 3 on the same weekend! I just love the simplicity of it. Again, it goes to show that you don’t have to spend a ton of money to create a super cute party. Tina painted her own flag and created the paper garland. The darling Double Decker Bus came from Habitat.
Cupcake kit from Baker’s Bling: http://www.etsy.com/shop/BakersBlingShop. Popcorn bags and straws from Hey Yoyo: http://www.etsy.com/shop/HeyYoYoTina said- “I really love your site and thought you might like this party! Throwing big parties overseas is always a huge challenge for me. There is so much less available here (and the other countries we have lived) but I have always strived to still give my kids (and husband!) a special day to remember!”
