This delightful ROSE GARDEN FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted and styled by Joanne Charmand of Cakes by Joanne Charmand in conjunction with White Room Photography.

This rose garden party is so lovely! A few of my favorite elements & party ideas are:
  • The pink roses held up by paper straw stems and cake pop bases
  • The beehive shaped clear glass drink dispensers
  • The vintage wheelbarrow filled with cotton candy
  • The white picket fence surrounding the entire “garden” as well as the white lattice backdrop behind the dessert table

Here’s what Joanne said about planning the party- “I made all the cakes, sweet treats and helped style, along with White Room Photography, this “Rose Garden” themed 1st birthday party. It was complete with white picket fences and a colour palette of pink and mint. We even used fake grass indoors! I especially liked the cake shaped into a watering can with roses and the fondant  rose cupcakes.”

They enjoyed drinks, chocolate, of course, as well as cake, cupcakes and cookies. We did some Easter crafts and had an Easter egg hunt.”
