This creative BEN 10 ALIEN BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Romina Di Leva of Hazlo Especial.

A few of the things I like best about this Ben 10 party are:
  • The 2-layer Ben 10 themed cake
  • The Oreo pops with decorated alien symbols
  • The tassel banner
  • and MORE!
Here’s what Romina said about the party- “Behind the best birthday parties I’ve seen, not only are event planners, or great party designers, there are mothers, aunts, grandmothers with great enthusiasm. This is the Ben 10 Birthday party that Lucca´s mom organized for him. And I had the pleasure of collaborating.”

Here’s what Erin said about planning the party- “When our first son was born, a really funny thing happened in the delivery room. My husband turned to me, holding our sweet Luke, and whispered, ‘Luke, I am your Father.’ Mind you, we did not name our son after any of the Star Wars movies, but my hubby knew I’d need a quick laugh, and boy did he get one.

While in the hospital, I dreamed up this birthday party for my then newborn son. I’ve waited 4 years to pull off his “May the Fourth be with You” party and what fun we had!

I wanted to have a party where the kids didn’t just sit around and do typical birthday stuff like open gifts and eat cake. So, we made a Jedi Training Course out of hula hoops, soccer cones, a mini slide and fabric tunnels.

Once the kids made it through the obstacle course, they were awarded with their very own, hand sewn, Jedi or Princess robe and Light Saber. The Jedi’s wore brown hooded robes and the princess’ wore white gowns with metallic gold belts and buns made out of yarn and a headband. They looked adorable!

We then played pin the “saber” on Yoda and awarded the kids with a Star Wars sticker. We made a Pez Toss out of antique Star Wars character Pez dispensers. (Think of those games at the county fair…) The kids loved this game because they got to try to rope the characters with their glow in the dark bracelets (another prize!).

We had a lunch break, where we served Jedi Fuel Packs, which were silver cupcake boxes filled with a Darth Dog (hot dog), Princess Lays (potato chips), and Light Sabers (green grapes on a long toothpick on the end of a foil covered wine cork). Jedi Juice was served in individual R2D2 and Darth Vader sippy cups and for the adults, we provided Yoda Soda (Sprite) and Wookie Water.

Once the Jedi’s were fueled up, we served cupcakes, dusted with edible glitter and sugar Yoda’s and Darth Vaders and of course, Sabers.

To end the party, we had the children take a whack at the Darth Vader pinata. Each kiddo got to take home their robe and saber, along with a Star Wars puzzle and their Jedi Juice cup.”

Rockets and Robots 2nd Birthday Party

What a fabulous ROCKETS & ROBOTS + SPACE THEMED SECOND BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Louise Sanders of SunshineParties! I hope you gain a lot of inspiration and party ideas here!

Louise said this about planning the party- “Send your little boy shooting into the stars with this vintage-inspired Rockets and Robots space-themed party. We created this party theme for my little boy, Thomas – he was turning two!

For the Party Table decor we used mainly blue and orange. The decor consisted of honeycomb paper balls or “planets”, home-made rockets, spaceship and robot masks, rocket favors and of course the space rocket cake.

We created this space theme by using our designs from our latest Sunshine Parties printable set. All digital design elements can be printed on a home PC printer and handmade. This makes the party unique and still affordable and best of all it doesn’t take that long! With a little thought this party can look out of this world and your little boy will be over the moon! Excuse the pun!”

Star Wars Themed Birthday Party

This STAR WARS THEMED BIRTHDAY PARTY submitted by Mariana Zago of Docinni was so fabulously executed! I hope you enjoy all the fabulous details and ideas here!

Mariana said this about planning the party- “I felt really challenged when asked to create a “Star Wars” Themed dessert table. My client explained to me how crazy her little boy was for the whole Star Wars Saga, and I felt the pressure to not let him down. I had to go back a few years, remembering when I were a child and used to watch Star Wars myself, but I have to say my memory is not that great, so I went and watched all the movies again. I had to get in the Star wars Universe in order to decorate the table and not miss the important details about the movies. I decided to start with the “creation of the universe”, making a sky full of stars as the background using a piece of mdf and led lights. From there I new I had to make the goodies all Star wars related, so we came up with R2D2s made of chocolate, Darth Vader cake pops, Stormtroopers cookies and an awesome spaceship cake! I even had a whole collection of star wars dolls from the 90′s, sitting on a stand in front of the table. The guy I rented it from made me promise I would take real good care of his “babies”. LOL. The little boy was thrilled with his custom-made dessert table, and I have to say I now belong to the Star Wars Lovers group :).”
