Cris said this about planning the party- “We had a BUNCO party to celebrate my daughter’s 14th Birthday. The girls didn’t know much about the game upon arrival but I explained the rules while they had dinner. We served all my daughter’s favorite appetizers for dinner like zingers, cream cheese/herbs dip(in the shape of a dice – made by my daughter), pizza rolls, dumplings, spring rolls and mozzarella sticks. After dinner we started the game and took a break after a couple rounds for some dessert! As per my daughter request, we had a chocolate fountain! It was a huge hit! None of the girls had ever had the pleasure to enjoy such yummy treat! As for dipping, they enjoyed some fresh strawberries, marshmallows, pretzels and Oreos. We got back to the game and at that point all the girls were into the game! The music was loud, they were screaming and giggling! We had a bright pink boa that was passed around every time someone else scored a BUNCO! We were able to finish all the 6 rounds of the game! The winner took home the boa as a prize! We also had favors for all the girls! They took home giant plush dice, candy, chocolate bar and beads. After the game we sang Happy Birthday and opened the gifts. We had Oreo ice cream cake(my daughter’s favorite cake), dice cake pops and chocolate cornered fortune cookies for our second round of desserts! The girls loved playing BUNCO and now they want to organize a Mother/Daughter BUNCO Mexican Night!”

This stunning EASTER THEMED VINTAGE BAKE SALE PARTY was submitted by Mandy McCready of Koko Blush & Company.

Looking at this party is making me wonder what country or planet I can move to where they celebrate Easter sooner than next March because I am absolutely dying over every detail and thinking I’m going to have to throw an Easter party. Now. Such a beautiful celebration!

Some of the stellar details to look out for in this vintage Easter party are:
  • The assorted vintage milk glass stands used to display the candy, favors and cakes
  • The children playing croquet as a party activity
  • The idea of the dessert display being a “bake sale”
  • The amazing print work and designs
  • The party attire
  • and MORE!
This is what Mandy said about planning the party- “We had so much fun working on the concept and styling of this Easter/Vintage Bake Sale themed party with Loralee Lewis. Hot Chocolate Party

Need a fun winter themed party idea? Look no further than this darling HOT CHOCOLATE THEMED HOLIDAY WINTER PARTY submitted by Erin Williams of Strawberry Mommycakes!

Erin said this about planning the party- “I created these “Some Like it Hot” printables and knew I had to throw a Hot Chocolate Party! I got rave reviews about the food and the printables. I designed the printables with a certain look I had in mind. I wanted the colors to feel warm and inviting, but I wanted the graphics to be modern and fun. I wanted the food and decorations to reflect that same feeling. I created all the paper decorations myself and my sister-in-law and I made all the food. We served Crock Pot Hot Chocolate (which was AMAZING!) with various toppings, Cinnamon Sugar Marshmallow Pops, Ginger Cake (served in adorable hand-made boxes), pumpkin pie tarts and doughnuts. I made food that wasn’t too sweet that had a holiday feel to compliment the hot chocolate. The large fans were made to look like snowflakes and I printed my coordinating patterns on my small fans to match the printables. I also mixed in some silver touches with the cake stand, tray an d Christmas tree to give it a modern holiday feel.”

Father’s Day Dessert Table + Vintage Party

I love this VINTAGE FATHER’S DAY DESSERT TABLE + PARTY submitted by the talented Laura Aguirre of LAURA’S little PARTY! The mustaches and burlap are my favorite!
Here is what Laura had to say about the party- “For Father’s Day this year, I wanted to create a simple & tasty dessert table, where I could also showcase a few items that really explained what Fathers are about.
I got together with my Grandmother, who found some great antique items that belonged to her father and grandfather. I couldn’t think of a better way to celebrate Father’s Day!
I displayed the Father’s Day spread on an antique dresser. I knew that burlap, twine, and Robin’s egg blue would be my color scheme. I custom ordered some fun Daddy & Co. tags from J. At your Service, and attached them to rootbeer bottles. I designed some tie cupcake toppers {inspired by Amanda’s Parties to Go} and cupcake wrappers by using a cute paper printable that I found on Pinterest from The Hybrid Chick. I served iced tea inside of an old Mason jar. The chocolate mustache lollipops I made were accompanied by an antique straight razor. An old cigar box worked as a display for some yummy peanut butter bars. An old football, ball & mit, and boxing gloves {belonging to my Grandfather} helped bring in all the “Father” things I wanted to showcase. I also displayed an old picture of my Grandfather, as a child, with his pet goat. The lock & chain belonged to my Great-Grandfather – it’s from LA transit, where he used to work. And the antique watch belonged to my Great, Great-Grandfather! I was so excited to celebrate Father’s Day with treats, antiques, and some very special items belonging to my family members.”

Easter Dessert Table + Spring Party

I’m very excited to showcase this precious EASTER DESSERT TABLE + SPRING PARTY submitted by Elise Butler of Sweet Scarlet Designs! What a beautiful spread. I’m just so excited for Easter and spring! Here is what Elise had to say about the party– “Easter heralds the arrival of Spring! And that is exactly what I wanted to capture in this fun, colorful and bright Printable Easter Collection. I was inspired by the some beautiful grosgrain ribbon for the striped pattern and the bunnies and bows seemed the perfect partners. I added fresh flowers to this dessert table to make it even brighter. My kids had a great time helping me paint the striped eggs. I used different widths and textures of pastel-colored ribbon to decorate the cake and candy jars, to tie in with the stripes. For the food I made classic double-vanilla cupcakes, from my favorite recipe – which turns out perfectly every time. I also made “Easter Bark” from white chocolate and candies. This was such an easy party food to make and it looks good too. I finished the table with traditional lemonade in glass bottles with paper straws and loads of Easter favors. The centrepiece Easter cake is a 6″ vanilla buttercake. This DIY Easter Printable Collection includes 2″ Cupcake Toppers, Bunting, Large Swing Tags (perfect for favors), Editable Buffet Tags, Straw Flags, Large Favor Tags, Mini Party Flags, Candy Bar Wrappers, Water Bottle Labels and two 8″x10″ Party Signs – ‘Happy Easter’ and ‘Welcome to our Egg Hunt’. This set is available now in my Etsy shop for just $10!” Vendor Credits: Table Design & Styling: Sweet Scarlet Designs Paper Printables: Sweet Scarlet Designs Photography: Elise Butler Easter Cake: Celebrity Cakes Fondant cupcake toppers, cupcakes & treats: Elise Butler
