This is what Cris said about planning the party- “With St. Patrick’s Day right around the corner, now is the time to start planing your get together! Amanda’s Parties to Go and I teamed up to help make the festivities easy and fun for you! Amanda is offering a FREE St. Patrick’s Day Printable Set that made this party a breeze to style. I created a colorful sweet/snack table for the kids with a rainbow backdrop made out of ribbons where I displayed the banner from the set. I used the icons from the printable set to create the center pieces for the the sweet table and the kids table. I dressed up the candy containers using ribbons and the circle tags included in the set. I also used the tags to embellish the popcorn containers. The rainbow flags were added on the kabobs sticks and lollipops for an extra pop of color. As for healthy snacks, the guests enjoyed leprechaun whole wheat sandwiches, rainbow fruit kabobs, veggies and orange juice. After their lunch, the children had fun making rainbow necklaces and finding gold coins around the backyard. It was finally time to enjoy some sweets! Rainbow cupcakes, M&M’s, Hershey’s kisses, lollipops and cinnamon popcorn were enjoyed by all! Instead of the traditional rainbow and pot of gold favor, I created a cute favor by dressing up green pails using cupcake wrappers, filling them with gold coins and finishing up by adding a rainbow lollipop.

Each child also took home a rainbow notebook, rainbow crayons, shamrock necklace, shamrock headband and tattoos. Hope these ideas and the FREE printable set offer help you plan your own St. Patty’s Celebration! The set includes a banner, centerpiece sign, cupcake toppers, drink flags, treat bag toppers, drink wraps and Hershey Kiss circles.”

Chevron Paper Bags
Striped Paper Bags
Clear Favor Tins/Pails
Striped Fry Boxes
Striped Square Paper Plates
Polka Dot Cupcake/Candy Cups
Paper Straws
Wooden Spoons
Bakers Twine
Milk Bottles
Candy Sticks

Square striped paper plates available in the KPI Shop. Darling place cards available for FREE below {click on the image to enlarge, then right click to save to your computer}.

These North Pole cupcakes were inspired by Jenny Cookies! I made them by simply dipping one end of a striped candy stick {available in the KPI online shop} into melted white chocolate {adding crystal candy flakes for snow} and inserted the candy stick into the top of each cupcake. The cute North Pole signs are available for FREE below {click on the image to enlarge, then right click to save to your computer}. I attached the signs to the candy sticks with frosting.

Hot Cocoa Mugs

We dressed up regular white ceramic mugs with red candy sprinkles! Gently dip the top of the mug in melted white chocolate and immediately add red candy sprinkles. The chocolate will harden, securing the sprinkles.

Santa’s Mustaches

Santa mustaches were made with a mustache candy mold, white candy melt, white sprinkles, sucker sticks, and striped paper straws {all from the Kara’s Party Ideas shop}! I placed the mustaches in a cute chevron patterned milk bottle, also available in the KPI shop. The tent card/label is available as a free printable at the bottom of the post!

These hot chocolate tins are a cinch to put together and make such a statement! Inside clear plastic pails {available in my shop here} layer hot cocoa powder, crushed peppermint candies, chocolate chips and marshmallows! I tied the pails off with some red polka dot ribbon from the shop and a coordinating Merry Christmas tag, available as part of the free Holiday party collection at the bottom of this post!

Chevron print paper bags from my shop were filled with white vanilla flavored cotton candy. A cute tag that read “Santa Beard Cotton Candy” was attached to the top of each bag. The tags are also available for free at the bottom of this post!

Milano Cookie Santa’s

We made adorable Santa cookies with Milano brand cookies and a few other simple supplies! Dip both ends of the Milano cookie in melted white chocolate and add red sprinkles and a white chocolate chip to the top portion of the cookie to create Santa’s hat. Then by using a tiny dab of melted white chocolate, attach a red candy to the middle of the cookie for the nose and chocolate chips just above the red candy for the eyes.

This North Pole sign is part of the FREE printable collection below {click on the image to enlarge, then right click to save to your computer}!

Chocolate Doughnut Reindeer

These reindeer doughnuts were a big hit! Chocolate mini doughnuts were used as the reindeer body, a red candy inserted into the middle of the doughnut was the reindeer nose, white chocolate chips were pushed into the top of the doughnut for eyes, and broken pretzel pieces were inserted into the top side of the doughnut for antlers! Easy and super cute!

Fry Box Candy Treats

I filled green striped fry boxes from my shop with more red cherry candies. I’m in love with fry boxes right now, and use them for so many things! When it comes to parties, the possibilities are endless with these!

Wooden Hot Chocolate Spoons

These wooden hot chocolate spoons were the perfect addition to the hot cocoa station. Guests stirred their hot cocoa with these adorable spoons, adding more flavor and fun to their hot chocolate! I dipped wooden spoons from my shop in white candy melt, then added green and red sprinkles to the top. After they cooled they were put inside clear mini cello bags and tied off with bakers twine {all from the KPI online shop}.

Merry Christmas Cupcakes

Vanilla cupcakes were placed in darling red polka dot nut cups/candy cups from the KPI shop. The darling cupcake toppers are available for free below {click on the image to enlarge, then right click to save to your computer}!

Marshmallows treat sticks

Regular marshmallows were dipped into melted red candy melt and green nonpareil sprinkles from my shop. A red striped paper straw {available in the KPI shop} was inserted into the top center of each marshmallow as a final holiday touch.

Reindeer Cupcakes

Create more fun reindeer treats with cupcakes and pretzels! These cupcakes were made with frosting, brown sprinkles, miniature vanilla wafers and pretzels!

Polka Dot Gable Boxes

Guests were able to take extra cookies and treats home in some polka dot gable boxes from my shop. Attached to the top of each box was a cute thank you tag {part of the free printable collection below…click on the image to enlarge, then right click to save to your computer}.

  Peppermint Cake Stand

I dressed up the side of a ceramic cake stand with lace and peppermint candies! I used a low temperature glue gun to attach the lace and peppermint candies {because of the low temperature, glue can be peeled right off after use} to the side of a red cake stand. Such a cute way to add the Christmas feel to your table!

In case you missed them, here are the darling holiday printables from C & C Paperie! Simply click on each image to enlarge, then right click to save to your computer and print!

Chris said this about planning the event- ”For our Give Thanks play date, I set up the kids table outdoors since the weather here in Phoenix is very mild during Fall. I purchased a few pumpkins to use as center pieces and embellished them using silk flowers, ribbons and painted polkadots. Using the coordinated paper and turkey icons from the set, I made cute crayon holders using TP roll that was placed beside each place setting along with an activity sheet from the printable set. I also used the coordinated paper as placemats, the larger turkey icons from the set were used to decorated the back of their chairs.

The dessert table was as colorful and fun as the kids table. Using fabric that coordinated with the printable, I created the backdrop by covering a piece of foam board and added the Happy Thanksgiving banner. An orange polkadot fabric was used as a tablecloth. The kids enjoyed some yummy cake pops, sugar cookies, trail mix, cupcakes and turkey sandwiches.

At the craft station, kids made turkey hats using the coordinated paper from the printable, painted wooden indian masks, made cute turkey decorations and colored the turkey printable also from the set.

Favors were displayed on an old kid’s fence decorated with color coordinated paper bunting.

The kids had so much fun. If you have good weather in late fall, staging this party outdoors might be a fun way to do a kids’ table at your Thanksgiving dinner.”

Graduation Party + FREE Printables

I’m really excited to share this GRADUATION PARTY {using FREE printables} submitted by Cris McGrath of Crissy’s Crafts! Sooo adorable and fun! My little 4 year old just graduated from preschool and he would have loved this!

Here is what Cris had to say about the party- “May is Graduation month and it was a pleasure to style this Graduation Party using Bird’s FREE Graduation Printables. This party was planned and styled in 48 hours thanks to Bird’s printables! Printables can turn a simple party to an extraordinary event! Since I didn’t have enough time to bake, I purchased all the bake goods and dressed them up using cupcake toppers and chocolate stars. The sweet table include diploma rolls (swiss roll), fancy cakesters (added some gold sprinkles), cupcakes, almond kisses, mini Reese’s cups, push up cupcakes and caramel popcorn. To bring color to the table, I used yellow lanterns and I wrapped a foam board with royal blue wrapping paper and made mini banner using yellow card stock with blue ribbon. Since I didn’t have time to order or bake a cake, the centerpiece was a blue and yellow tissue poms to coordinate with the printable. I embellished the goodie bags, popcorn cups, drinking glass using the printables. We also served pretzel diplomas, pineapple star bites, blueberry, vegetables toast and tomato, fresh mozzarella and basil as appetizers. We got some photos props such as GRAD glasses and headbands from the Dollar store for the “You are a Star” photo booth. The ideas behind the printable designs is that is can be used for any type of graduation party, be it junior high school or college – And Bird is offering these Graduation Party Printables as FREE Printable Downloads to all Bird’s Facebook fans!!
