Vintage Shabby Chic Baby Shower

I am in love with this SHABBY CHIC BABY SHOWER submitted by Kristina Geronsin of A Petite Soiree!
Kristina said- “Adorable fabric, burlap and mason jars are some of my favorite things! Put that together with a gorgeous mommy-to-be and this shower is definitely one of my top loves! I created lots of touches using the fabric. The fabric garland and mini cake garland turned out perfectly and gave the softness and femininity I wanted to create! I used a burlap runner on the ivory linen for added texture and some color. Then used small vases filled with pink and white flowers to run through the center. The favors were candles poured in a small mason jar topped with a coordinating fabric and then tied with jute string and a favor tag! The soft and creamy colors with the personalized details like the baby name card made this shower simply sweet! The yummy key lime pie push pops, made a my great friend Megan were the perfect end to the sunny Arizona day!”

“A soft baby shower was set up in a back yard under a pleasant canopy/tent. A lot of pinks and shades of green were used throughout the spread. The doilies and flowers really added to the whole design.”

Vintage Pink Baby Shower

I am in love with this VINTAGE PINK BABY SHOWER submitted by Lima Limão! Oh how I adore the soft colors and vintage touches. That hutch is to die for, too.

Here is what Lima Limao had to say about the party- “Lima Limão is Portuguese party design company. We created this Vintage Baby Shower for a girl. The baby’s room was already done and it was perfect for the celebration. The room has vintage furniture that was painted in white, the display cabinet was meant to be used for the babies wardrobe. We used it, along with some of the other furniture, for the set up of the dessert/sweet tables. We used pastel shades of pink and green for the main color palette with lovely vintage illustrations, doilies for the decoration in the banners, and tags (all customized for this theme). Everything turned out very beautiful, delicate, and charming.” Party Styling- Lima Limão

Pink Giraffe Baby Shower Party

Take a look at this adorable PINK GIRAFFE BABY SHOWER submitted by Rene Bross of My Good Greetings. Giraffe’s are a zoo animal you don’t see much in the party theme world, it’s mostly monkey’s and elephants, but now I’m definitely asking myself why! How darling is this?! A giraffe themed birthday party would be super cute as well. Here is what Rene had to say about the party- “Our Pink Giraffe baby shower invitation was used as inspiration for this dessert table. Soft pinks, white and a touch of golden yellow was the color theme. We started with a soft pink polka dot fabric for the background and table runner then added the hanging pendants cut from scrapbook papers. The muted pink and soft yellow tissue pom poms seemed to tie it all together and matched the theme of the invitation. The dessert buffet featured sweet treats including white and pink Jelly Bellies, salt water taffy, strawberry whoppers, delicious vanilla cupcakes, pink rock candy, pink popcorn, pink lemonade with sugared mason jars and the cutest baby giraffe cookies complete with pink spots. For budget conscious reasons, the glass apothecary jars and glass cupcake stand were assembled with glass items found at the local Good Will store and glued together with clear adhesive. It was so fun to hunt for the right stacking glass pieces and the cost of each glass jar was about $3.00! The little pendants, also cut from scrapbook paper, were added to the glass cupcake stand with double-sided tape for easy removal. I designed the popcorn boxes, cupcake wrappers, cotton candy cones and labels to match the party theme.” Credits: Pink Giraffe Baby Shower Invitation- My Good Greetings Baked goods & Photography- Rene’ Bross

Lilac’s & Lemonade Baby Shower

This weekend’s winning party feature goes to this beautiful LILAC’S AND LEMONADE BABY SHOWER submitted by Me & My Boys. What a lovely combination- Lilac’s and Lemonade! So clever. I love the deep purples and yellows. Displaying pretty photographs of the mom in the same colors was such a good idea, too.
The guests enjoyed chicken salad croissants, fruit kabobs, spinach salad, lemon cake pops, brownie bites, lemon squares and fudge pops…makes me hungry, sounds so delicious!
Wonderful job, Sally! Thanks for your submission. Congratulations on being chosen as a winning party feature!
Vintage suitcases and the basinet that the mama-to-be slept in when she was a baby were set out to put gifts on.
