This charming ELEPHANT THEMED FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Juliana Han of Elefante Colorido in Brazil.
This elephant birthday party could easily be customized to suit either a boy or a girl. There are also so many fun ideas that could be used for an elephant baby shower! Some of my favorite elements in this party are:
The elephant silhouette party picks
The assortment of green topiaries displayed in various sizes and styles of white milk glass vases
Here’s what Juliana said about the party- “For the 1st birthday of our kids’ party hall, we gave ourselves the challenge to develop a table that would be easily customizeable (so we can re-create it in different colors, for boys and girls, following our guests´ requests). We wanted it to be tasteful and delicate, and not use any specialty, expensive sweets, desserts or cakes. With this, we want to keep the cost affordable for our clients to be able to have a beautiful, customized table, without having to spend a lot of money.
There are many different and beautiful tables out there, that are based on expensive and artfully created sweets, desserts and candies. We wanted our table to be based on common brazilian party treats, such as brigadeiro, pink brigadeiro, coconut sweets and so on.
I think we met all our goals beautifully, since everybody who came visiting us on that day complimented us and liked our table very much!”

I love that this owl party not only has tons of great ideas for celebrating Mother’s Day, but would also be perfect for an owl themed baby shower! Some of my favorite elements are:
This charming BUNNY THEMED FIRST BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Alex Vardakis of Avie & Lulu in Australia.
I love so many things about this bunny party! It would obviously not only be great for a birthday but would work for a Easter party or a baby shower as well. A few highlights to look for are:
The mason jars painted opaque white and used as vases
The gorgeous glass apothecary style drink dispensers
The bunny shaped cookies tied to the sides of milk bottles
The stunning cake complete with cascading sugar flowers and topped with a three dimensional fondant bunny
Alex said this about the party- “My third little girl celebrated her first birthday in April and being around Easter we thought what better than to have a gorgeous pastel themed Easter party! It was a garden party with lots of prettiness and lots of fun!
A special appearance by the Easter Bunny himself was a highlight for the kids, as was the real white fluffy bunny which spent the afternoon hoping around.
A beautiful 2 tier Cake was the show stopper of the dessert table. Made by the talented Sweet Tiers it featured a beautiful Bunny figurine topper. All of the guests were amazed it was fondant and many thought it was a real porcelain figurine. Other treats included buttercream ruffled cupcakes in pastel shades of lemon, pink, mint and blue. And the most amazing and detailed Cookies by the super amazing cookie artist Kookie Krumbs by Kirstie. They were like tiny portraits, delicately detailed and definitely too good beautiful to eat!
The children’s setting featured rattan chairs which suited the garden feel to a tea.
Each guest received a keepsake hankie designed by Ham&Pea Paperie which featured the Winnie the Pooh quote ‘You are braver then you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think’.”

This darling UP UP & AWAY BABY SHOWER was styled by Sarah of Sugar Coated Mama. Sarah is one talented gal! If you want to see more of her beautiful work I would highly recommend liking her and following her on Facebook here (show some KPI love & tell her I sent ya)!
This baby shower is absolutely adorable and is chock full of so many fabulous hot air balloon party ideas! A few of my favorite elements are:
Sarah had this to say about the party- “I simply love Baby Showers, they are a celebration of life and family, two things very dear to my heart. I especially love the excitement around the arrival of a beautiful little person and the fun that can be had at these special events.
THEME / DECORATIONS
Theming this baby shower was easy, as I was dying to create an Up Up and Away table. It was for a little boy, so blue was an obvious colour, and I picked yellow, pastel green and white to compliment the base palette. Budget was small, so I kept the table very simple, but it went a long way! To tie in with Up Up and Away theme I chose to create some fluffly scalloped lanterns, which I have been obsessed with lately, the blue, yellow and white gradient colours really set off the table. I created a white fluffy backdrop with crepe paper fringe garlands to create the feel of clouds, and used a white table cloth to keep things clean and fresh.
FOOD
Cake – One of my favourite features of this dessert table is the delicious elegance of the blue multi-tone Swirl Cake with buttercream icing created by Jodie at Get Frosted (her new business) and topped off by the uber cute Cake Pom Pom Garland by Pom Pom Princess. The outside was only the beginning, holy cow was it nice, it was an amazing tasting carrot cake inside!! Vanilla cupcakes with buttercream swirl were also created by Get Frosted and toppers were created by Sugar Coated Mama.Other food items were the green, yellow and blue CLOUD lollies (so yummy), as well as the cloud meringues, coloured nouget, mint M&M’s, handmade personalised chocolate bars, white chocolate coconut malt balls, vanilla pearl sheen cake pops and blue fairy floss.”

This charming CUE THE CONFETTI BABY SHOWER was submitted by Jessica Flannigan of Live the Fancy Life.
I love how the festive pink and gold color scheme of this confetti themed baby shower could easily be changed to suit a baby boy, a gender neutral shower or baby nursery colors! Some of my favorite ideas in this shower are:
The baby themed photobooth props with the polka dot backdrop
The varying sizes and colors of circle cutouts attached to lollipop sticks and used as cake toppers
The large empty gold frame used as a backdrop
The assortment of bubbly and polka dot items used throughout the party adding to the theme
The clear plastic tubes filled with round, confetti-like Sixlet candies as party favors
Jessica said this about the party- “I teamed up with Cassie of ChubbyMama Cupcakes on a pink and gold baby shower for her fabulous sister Mandi recently. I was hired to focus on event design-the decor, DIY elements, dessert table and champagne/sparkling water bar. Cassie focused on the food and gathering materials. This shower was a lot of fun and the decor was glamorous, but also very eclectic!
The event was hosted at a very cool urban loft-like space called The Engine Room in downtown Minneapolis with exposed brick, hardwood floors, random vintage furniture pieces and high open-beam ceilings.
The mommy-to-be Mandi is a very stylish woman living in Philadelphia with her sweet husband and soon-to-arrive baby girl. She is manager of product development for Urban Outfitters Europe and has great taste so we really tried to emulate her style in this shower.
Cassie came up with the theme “cue the confetti” with a color palette of pinks and golds. She is an amazing cake and cupcake baker/decorator, so the dessert table was a huge focal point. We worked with Shannon of Grace & Guy Paperie to come up with all of the custom “Cue the Confetti” printables. Two of the party signs are available for free download on livethefancylife.com.
The shower was at 10 a.m. so we did brunch including donut holes in cute gold cups, quiche, fresh fruit, a coffee bar, a champagne and sparkling water bar and lots of dessert.
Shower favors were pink and white shimmery sixlets in modern clear packaging to carry the confetti look and feel throughout. We also had a fun photo booth with a confetti wall backdrop made from a simple 3 inch circle punch and vinyl sticker paper from Joann Fabrics. DIY projects include cupcake toppers, backdrops, homemade simple syrups for a beautiful champagne and sparkling water bar and more. The simple syrups were a big hit. We had peach basil and orange ginger. Both taste great in champagne or sparkling water. We brought in tons of gold and white pillows and placed them throughout the event.”
