This awesome BIGFOOT THEMED SECOND BIRTHDAY PARTY was submitted by Wendi Janice.
What a fabulous party theme! I especially love all of the woodsy decorations throughout it; they’re so perfect for this particular party! I also love the darling Bigfoot cookies and cake! This party is so fun and has so many ideas that would work perfectly for not only a Bigfoot party, but a camping party as well.
My favorite Bigfoot party ideas and elements from this darling birthday bash are:
- The fun pine tree decorations
- The cute Bigfoot cookies
- The cute place setting
- The darling Bigfoot cake
- The cute Mountain scene backdrops
- and MORE!
Bigfoot Party Details:
This is what Wendi said about planning/styling the party- “For my son’s 2nd birthday party we decided to have a Bigfoot bash. My son loves to hide & be sneaky so he is a natural bigfoot. I bought some clearance Christmas trees from Hobby Lobby for $8 each and sewed & embroidered the table cloths myself. The bigfoot backdrop is mounted on 2 sheets of insulation foam board, covered with bulletin board paper, and I hand cut pieces of cardstock to form the bigfoot. I then added some shading in around his “fur” with a few distress ink stamp pads. The kid’s table was made from a regular 6ft long folding table from Target. My husband cut the legs down to kid table size and the white stools are from Ikea. The plate chargers were purchased from Zulily and the foam feet were from Oriental Trading. The bigfoot rescue kits were purchased from Amazon. The favor bags are just simple craft bags from Hobby Lobby with the birthday boy’s foot print on them. Each child had a s et of binoculars inside to hunt for bigfoot with. Babies attending the party went home with a bigfoot book from Hallmark as a party favor. Since we have our parties in my children’s playroom, I like to hide the toys in the bookshelves and cover them with more insulation foam sheets. We stamped my son’s feet across the bookshelf seen too -not easy with a squirmy two year old! The large bigfoot standee is from the Discovery Channel Store. One thing we have as a tradition at birthday parties is a guest book. I buy a hardcover book that fits with the party theme and guests can write a little message inside. The “Gone Squatchin” hats for the guests were purchased on Amazon. The cake and cookies were made by Jula at Cakes by Jula in League City,TX. If you ever go there, try her almond amaretto cake with bavarian cream filling! It is my go-t o birthday cake. After cake the kids got out their binoculars and went searching through the house for bigfoot. My husband dressed up in the bigfoot costume (from amazon) to give the kids nightmares. Well only the birthday boy was scared, the bigfoot costume was funny to the other kids”.
