Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Party Details:

This is what Kate said about planning the party- “So, I have to admit I had a little fun with this one! :) Having two girls of my own, I have a lot of experience planning girl themed parties and desserts, but little opportunity to explore the “boy” themes.. So when I got the call from Jordan’s mom to design this Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle dessert table I was super excited and ready to take on the challenge. ;)

I wanted the backdrop to resemble the city sewer pictured in the TMNT video games. When I found this brick panel at Lowes I was soooo excited! Took it home, spray painted some green “slime” on it and then build a “sewer pipe system” out of pvc pipe (spray painted silver).

After the backdrop was complete, the rest of the table was a “piece of cake”. I made ninja turtle cake pops, cupcakes, turtle chocolate pops, chocolate sewer rats (villain Shredder’s friends), chocolate covered oreo brains (the villain Kraang), green jello “slime”, pizza sugar cookies (pizza is a TMNT favorite), pizza cake pops, chocolate covered pretzel sticks (Casey Jones hockey sticks) and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle character sugar cookies (created by NatSweetsCookies). I created everything on the table, EXCEPT these fabulous cookies! I’m 100% character cookie challenged, so ordering these cookies from NatSweetsCookies was a MUST! ;) They were awesome!”

I really love your party ideas. Especially the labels.. Where can I get the characters candy buffet labels? I would love to display them at my son’s party..

I am trying to find the candy molds you used for the brain, rats, and ninja turtle suckers. Also, what was used to make the “pizza” sugar cookies. I am not able to find any of these items in your Party Idea Shop.
