Disney’s Frozen Party Details:

This is what Tammy said about planning the party- ”My kids anticipate the holidays almost as much for the new kids movies that are coming out as the food and presents! Over the summer I took my kids to the movies. During the previews, they had the cutest Digital short from Pixar. It was about a slightly funny looking, but adorable snowman. A few weeks later I learned that he was going to be from Disney’s latest movie. As soon as I heard that, the party wheels started turning! I wanted the party to have an icy feel, hence the blues and white color scheme. I added pops of orange for interest. The glittered FROZEN sign was a must. Wood letter from Hobby Lobby were transformed in a matter of minutes with some glue and Martha Stewart Glitter. Simple white paper chains gave the feeling of ice and snow overhead. The little snowman donut treats are super easy to make! The premise of the digital short for Frozen, was a snowman, Olaf, who sneezes and come to pieces. It was so cute, I had the crazy idea of creating snowman pieces as both a favor and activity for the kids. They could play with the snowman parts and create silly snowmen, and then take them home and eat them! I contacted my favorite cookie lady…the AMAZING Elizabeth of Lizy Bakes and she was on board! Seriously, she is oozing talent! When I saw these perfectly constructed Olaf pieces, I was amazed! The kids had a blast playing with them even after the shoot was over…they didn’t want to eat them! For a few healthier “snowman food”” options, I opted for pretzels, raisins and carrots…all things that could be considered snowman parts. The snowman plastic milk bottles are super easy to create and look adorable if I do say so myself!;) Little pompoms, a felt scarf, and a straw with a top hat make them easy and cute! We were able to celebrate just in time for the movie’s opening day! This is such a fun theme and can be used for any holiday party, snowman party or winter wonderland party.”
