Santa’s Little Helpers Christmas Party Details:

This is what Kara Abrahamsen said about planning the party- ”This Christmas party was a last minute birthday theme change for my daughter, Lilly’s, 8th birthday party! We were originally going to do an ice skating party; then she broke her foot at gymnastics! So plans changed to use my Christmas Party for her birthday Worked out perfectly! Annye Newman from Faith Photography did a STUNNING job on capturing all of the party details!
Party Details:
Lilly wrote a letter to Santa Clause 2 weeks before her party asking him if he could please send Alfred, her Elf On The Shelf, and all of her friends Elf’s to the party so they could check up on them and then return to the North Pole until December 1st. Santa Claus thought that was a fantastic idea!
Lilly has donated her gifts every year since her 5th birthday! Since we were doing a Christmas Theme she decided to go with Operation Shoe Box! All of the guest were asked to bring a Shoe Box and items to fill it with. We ended up with 22 shoe boxes and only had 12 guest! Siblings brought some and some guest brought 2! As the guest arrived they were given aprons with their names on them and elf hats; so they would fit right in at Santa’s Workshop! We directed them to the wrapping station so they could be helper Elves and wrap the shoe boxes once they filled them! This was my favorite part of the party! It was awesome to see the kids get excited about helping others!
Santa’s Helpers then walked around and found all of their Elves being mischievous and hiding out in the party décor (being very careful not to touch them)!! The girls then took a seat at their spot on the table and decorated ginger bread men! They then took turns going to the Hot Chocolate Bar and making up a mug of Hot Coco! They also got to pick their sweets at this time from the dessert table!
After they finished munching on their sweets and sipping hot coco; the sweet girls read the Elf on the Shelf Book amongst each other!
It was then time for all of Santa’s Helpers to head home!
Party Decorations:
The party decorations were so much fun and easy!! Christmas stuff was everywhere and not hard to come by. There were so many great items that matched my printable party package”!
